Later that morning Kara woke up to Lena wrapped around her body. Ever since Liam was born Lena's began to get her 'forever abs' as she calls them. Due to this Lena's appetite has grown substantially, she can now match Kara's eating habits. Seeing that Lena's still sleeping Kara slips out of bed to go and check on Liam. The little dark haired boy is sound asleep in his crib when Kara walks into the room. She takes a moment to look at him as he sleeps away the morning. Soft snores coming from him as he wrinkles his little nose. "You're such a sweet little boy. You keep sleeping love, I'm gonna go start breakfast so don't wake mommy up ok." Kara whispered as she turned to leave the room.
Before heading downstairs she looks into the other bedroom to see Lena sound asleep in bed. Another smile appears on her face as she takes in the beauty that is her wife. Turing on her heel she begins walking down the stairs and into the kitchen. Kara starts grabbing stuff from the fridge to make some omelettes. She quickly mixes up a bowl of eggs in the bowl before adding ham, peppers, onions, cheese, and for her wife kale. The eggs hit the pan with a sizzle and Kara puts in an everything bagel into the toaster.
Back upstairs Lena is waking up to the smell of food cooking. She looks over at the clock to see it says '8:00'. She sits up in bed rubbing her eyes she wakes up. Once she's awake enough she goes into Liam's room to check on him. He's awake and has a gassy smile on his face. "Good morning sweetheart! Let's go see what your momma's up to hmm?" Lena cooed as she picks him up into her arms.
Once she makes it downstairs she sees the table set with two plates and two glasses of orange juice two mugs of coffee. "Good morning Lee, Liam! How are my favorite people this morning?" Kara asked. "We're good aren't we love bug? I'm just gonna go put him in the swing real quick." Lena said. Kara nodded as she finished plating up their breakfast sandwiches. "These look incredible Kara! Thank you for this." Lena replied. "You're welcome sweetheart. Did you sleep well?" Kara asked. "Yes I did. Thank you for letting me sleep in today, it was definitely needed." Lena replied with a smile.
