"Kara! Are you ready?" Lena called out. Today the'd be heading to the pedestrian for Liam's first round of shots and Kara was a bundle of nerves about it. "I'm ready...I'm just nervous about it." Kara replied as she slipped her sandals on. "Kar..everything is gonna be fine love..come on our drivers waiting." Lena cooed as they walked out of their penthouse together. Liam was in his car seat already napping as they got him positioned in the back seat of the suv.

The ride to the doctor was short and both women were glad to see Liam slept the whole way there knowing he wouldn't sleep after getting his shots. "We've got our son Liam Danvers-Luthor here to get his shots." Kara said. "Yes please take a seat and fill out this paperwork." The receptionist replied handing Kara a clipboard full of papers with a pen. Kara took a seat next to Lena and began filling out the papers while Lena used her foot to rock the car seat gently.

"Liam Danvers-Luthor?" A nurse asked just as Kara finished the paperwork. "Here!" Lena said as she grabbed the car seat and Kara's hand and followed the nurse into a room. "Ok little man! Let's get you weighed first then we'll continue our examination." The nurse cooed as she took him from his car seat. Lena wrapped her arm around Kara to keep her from going 'supermom' on the nurse. "Relax Kar...he's gonna be ok." Lena whispered.

A few minutes later Liam was back in his car seat as the nurse left the room. "Such a good boy!  Yes you are!" Kara cooed. Liam babbled while looking at his blonde mommy. "Ah hello! I'm doctor Wilson! I'll be the one giving young Mr. Danvers-Luthor his shots today." The man said. Kara and Lena looked at him curiously before Kara took Liam from the car seat.

Holding him in her lap  she readied herself for the screams that were sure to come. Dr. Wilson quickly readied his shots with the nurse before beginning giving Liam them. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Liam waled out. "It's ok sweetheart! It's almost over." Lena cooed as she rubbed his back. "And that's it! Good job Liam!" Dr. Wilson said. "You may put his top back on and head out whenever you ready." The nurse said with a smile.
