After breakfast and showers everyone headed out to the wine tasting and a tour of the vineyards. "So who are the two lucky women?" A young woman asked. "That'd be us." Lena said pointing between her and Kara. "Ah well congratulations! Will you two be doing the sunset walk tonight too?" The woman asked. "Yes we will be." Kara replied with a smile. "Well let's get this wine tasting started shall we? My name is Miranda Russo, this is my family's winery and vineyard. It's well over a hundred years old. On the walls are dauerrotypes photos from when my family built this barn here which now serves as the museum." Miranda explained.
Everyone began looking around at the photos on the walls as Miranda began explaining everything about the wine business. "So over here I've pulled out six bottles of our vintage collection. They're all red wines, since we didn't begin making white wine till two years ago. We also have some local goat, and cow cheese here from our local farmers. Along with some custom made meats my family made in the delicatessen that's located right up the road from here. You also may feel free to check that out during your stay here." Miranda stated as she passed out tasting glasses.
After tasting the wines and trying some of the meats and cheeses Lena and Kara began their stroll through the vineyards after spending all afternoon in the winery it was now turning dusky so it was the perfect time to take a sunset stroll through the vineyard. "It's so beautiful here...how many bottles of wine did you buy already?" Kara asked. "Only twelve of each, but that includes some bottles of their white wins too. And I also bought some of those spiced meats and cheeses you liked so much. I was thinking we could have them cater our wedding if you wanted. Or at least we could buy plenty of it to have at our wedding." Lena replied. "Hmm...I like both ideas. Plus they'd make great gifts for other times too, like Christmas, and birthdays." Kara added.
As they walked they heard the photographer snapping photos of them that Sam and Alex hired. As they reached the top of a hill the sun was just turning a bright orange behind them. The women took this opportunity to steal a long slow kiss knowing that it would make a wonderful photo to hang on their wall at home. As it got darker the woman made their way back to the winery to meet up with Sam and Alex and the photographer. "Miss Luthor, Miss Danvers! Pleasure to meet you two! I'm Jack Adam's. The photographer your friends here hired to take some pictures of you. I just wanted to tell you that I'll sending you copies tomorrow morning." Jack stated. "That's perfectly fine! Thank you for taking pictures!" Lena replied with a smile. Jack nods in response before going to his car and driving away.
"Ready to get back to the house?" Sam asked and everyone nodded as they got into the car.
