"In the evening, Romina went to a bar to have a drink, but she went alone. Maybe this is her chance to catch someone's eye. Although I doubt it.

Down by the pool, my parents and Luke's parents are there. I'm in the room trying on a bikini, none of them convince me, I don't like bikinis, but I chose the one that is most comfortable, although I still put on shorts.

As I was going down the stairs, I saw that Luke's room door was open but there was no one inside. I was curious to see what his room was like, but I know I can't enter, and someone might see me.

Come in, come in, come in...

Damn impulses.
Curiosity won, so I entered. His room is quite large, the walls are navy blue, and there are shelves with trophies and photos of him. His surfboards were leaning against one wall.

He also has another shelf full of books and... Oh no. Footsteps. Coming towards this room.
I panicked. What if it was Luke?
I didn't have a better idea than to hide behind the bed.

How stupid.

But to my luck, he would surely see me.
The footsteps were already in the room. And yes, it was Luke. I looked at him with the best face of... I don't know. How am I supposed to react?

- Are you playing hide and seek alone? - Luke asked, holding back laughter.

- Uh...no...I...I dropped something... - I said, starting to cough nervously.

- Ahh yes...could it be because you wanted to see what my room was like? - he said, raising an eyebrow.

I sighed defeatedly. But I still don't know what to say to him.

- Don't worry, it's okay. - he said, smiling.

What's up with him? He can't be so calm about everything, although it's better for me.

He reached out a hand to help me up from the floor. I didn't look at him but I spoke.

- Yeah, well...I was curious... - I admitted.

He looked at me calmly, it seemed like he had already forgotten about the issue.

—Look, these are my three girls," he said amusingly, showing me his surfboards.

I pretended I hadn't seen them.

- Which one do you use the most?

- It depends on the wave, I decide which one to take. - he replied. Tomorrow supposedly we were going to surf together but I don't know if the idea still stands.

- Tomorrow, if you still want to come with me to the beach... I can lend you one. - he said, looking for some response from me.
Well, at least he was keeping the offer.

- That wouldn't be a bad idea. - I finally said.

He smiled at me.

- Come on, hurry to the pool!

I ran out laughing.
I saw him go down the stairs and when he passed the patio door, he did a cannonball jump and plunged into the pool.

I did the same and didn't realize I was wearing shorts.
My parents and Luke's parents were at the barbecue cooking hamburgers and they were watching us laughing.

- Why are you doing mini races? - I laughed.

- I don't know, it's fun. It's also so you feel comfortable," he shrugged.

I smiled at what he said. I really was feeling comfortable and he's helping me with that.

A drop fell from his hair and ran from his eyebrow to his jawline.
