(Ugh. Where do I begin? You guys knowwww how insane my job is making me, so it's obviously keeping me extremely busy. So busy in fact, my hot coworker has been acting weird. Long story short, there are two main offices in our 14-story building, he usually hangs out on the 1st floor when he's done teaching. My office is on the 2nd floor, so recently he's just been coming up there for no particular reason other than to stand at my desk and talk to me. Last week I was super fucking busy and out of nowhere he came in, just at the time our staff meeting was supposed to start and pulled up a chair behind my desk and sat behind me instead of logging into his own laptop in his own office to attend the meeting. And most meetings he has nothing to contribute anyway so he tends to skip them, so idk what's up other than I guess he just likes making sweat. Either way, it's war now👿)
P.S.  @xVoltronFandomx your bullying worked lmao

"You better hope I don't shove you off a bridge after I get out of here," Shin hissed at Mako when he pulled him out of the car,
"Shove me with what? Your good arm?" Mako teased, handcuffing Shin's wrist to his before guiding him inside, "And I told you. Had you just followed orders, we wouldn't be checking you into the hospital right now–
"You of all people know the Triple Threats don't take orders from cops. There was once a time when you lived by the same creed,"
"Keyword once," Mako reminded him, "Now, I just want to find my girlfriend. So, after we get through with signing you in here, you're on your own," he breathed before turning to the nurse at the front desk with a warm smile, "Hi uhh. Yeah. We have a uhh, one deposit. Male. Umm...age...sixty? Two gunshot wounds to the bicep,"
"Sixty!?" Shin scoffed, "Try forty-three. And I'm allergic to penicillin,"
"Uhh. Right. Umm. Where...where are his pants?" The nurse asked curiously, eyeing the thick towel wrapped around Shin's waist,
"Didn't have time to grab them," Mako chuckled lightly,
"Okay, can you tell us who shot you?" she asked Shin as she came around the desk and examined just how bad of shape he was in,
"That would be me," Mako nodded proudly,
"And you brought him here yourself? You know we're at liberty to call the police for something like this?"
"No need," Mako smirked, pulling his badge from his back pocket, "We're already on the scene,"
"Oh. Okay. Well...just–w-wait here," the nurse ordered softly before checking her clipboard, "Hmm. Well, it seems that Surgeon Daniels has gone home for the night and his assistant is currently in the middle of resetting a broken leg. I can clean you up and pencil you in his schedule first thing tomorrow morning,"
"Daniels? No thanks cupcake," Shin chuckled lightly despite the pain that coursed throughout his body, "I'll take Siros, I know he's around here somewhere,"
"Yes, but he's only a junior resident. There's no way he can get that bullet out of your arm without a team,"
"That's what you're here for. We got Siros and we got you. Last time I checked, two makes a team," Shin snapped, "So let's make this quick before I pass out and these two idiots have to carry me," he breathed in annoyance,
"Hmph. Very well," the nurse nodded reluctantly before calling toward the small gathering of receptionists, "Hey, where did Siros take that other gunshot victim?"
"Hmm. His chart says E6. 10th floor," one replied without looking up from his book,
"Got it. Well, I guess you gentlemen can follow me then,"
E6
"Was my uncle the reason you were here a few days ago?" Siros asked, wrapping your arm in fresh bandages,
"No, my idiot brother wa–wait. How did you know I was here a few days ago?"
"Oh, uhh. M-My uncle asked for your file–
"And you gave it to him!?"
"Hey, I didn't know he was going to use it to track you down and shoot you!" Siros scoffed, tossing his bloody gloves into the trash before quickly washing his hands, "Besides, h-he wouldn't let me operate on your brother unless I gave it to him," he sighed deeply, "My guess is he wanted to make sure you were still alive. Like I said, he doesn't tell me everything. I see someone who got hurt...a-and I help them. Looking back now, I-I definitely should've asked,"
"Well...I guess...this isn't entirely your fault then,"
"Hmph. Certainly doesn't feel that way now," Siros admitted sourly, "I never went into the family business because I wanted to help people. And in the past few days, all I've managed to do was somehow put you at risk. What does my uncle want with you anyway?"
"Right now?" Viper smirked slyly as he stood in the doorway, shutting it behind him before locking it quickly, "How about those papers kitten?"
"Uncle–
"You were just leaving Siros," Viper ordered with a smug grin,
"But–
"That will be all," Viper said sharply without taking his eyes from your glare, "I don't want the next person who checks into this hospital to be you," he threatened his nephew,
"R-Right," Siros answered in defeat before rushing out the door, "Damn it," he breathed in a panic, "What have I done?"

"I don't get it," Kuvira breathed sharply at Rohai, her eyes pinched shut in frustration and confusion, "You know what I've done. You know why I've spent the last six years behind bars. Why ask me to join your ranks?"
"Simple," Rohai answered softly before he stood and paced the room, "When Avatar Kyoshi created our order she trained the first official agents herself, making them the most elite and effective police force in the world. It's written in our history books that Kyoshi was one of the most strict and ruthless teachers in the four nations. Many of our cadets then did not survive," he continued joylessly, "But with her leadership and knack for picking unyielding agents our ranks have managed to thrive all these years. That is...until now,"
"I...I still don't understand,"
"Kuvira, it is no secret that you are one of the greatest metalbenders to exist outside of the Beifong lineage. Why Republic City chooses to cage that talent is beyond me," Rohai breathed angrily with his fist clenched, "But I refuse to let it go to waste. I am offering you a fresh start. It'll be like you never existed outside these walls, but inside them, you'll walk with the same power you once had as the Great Uniter, maybe even greater,"

"How many stitches?" Viper cooed as he towered over you and examined your arm with fondness,
"Hmph. Seven," you snapped, yanking your arm from his gentle grip,
"And the papers?" he asked sweetly, caressing the back of your neck to hold your gaze,
"In your coat,"
"Hmph. Such a good girl. And you said it wouldn't work,"
"That was before I knew you'd go so far as to shoot me to get them!" you hissed back,
"I grazed you. Don't be dramatic," Viper teased before pulling you to your feet, "Now, let's go,"
"Ugh. Where now?"
"Well, we have a hotel room I'd very much like to use," he winked,
"Ugh. Absolutely not," you scoffed in disgust,
"Don't worry kitten, not for that–just yet," Viper chuckled slyly as he led you to the elevator, "Trust me. I'm more than well aware you're far too pissed for me to convince you not to be. Especially, like I used to," he grinned proudly while he held your chin,
"Try beyond pissed," you winced angrily, snatching your face from his fingers,
"Give it time darling," Viper reassured you, "You'll forget all about those stitches and that good-for-nothing Mako once you see how much the Triple Threats appreciate your efforts,"

"Oh, there you are Siros," the nurse called before he could slip into the stairwell, "I-I have a patient who made a personal request for you waiting in E1,"
"Yeah. Not now, Akeno," Siros protested, "I'm in the middle of something. I-I might have to report someone to the police–
"Well, you're in luck. There are two officers in E1 right now,"
E1
"Sorry for the wait," Siros panted as he barged through the door, "I-I got caught up–Shin? "he questioned, eyeing his bloody wrist that was handcuffed to the bed and the two plain-clothed officers occupying the chairs next to him,
"Hey Siros," Shin smiled weakly, "Glad you could make it,"
"What's going on? Uncle Viper didn't tell me you were here–
"Viper!?" Mako hissed as he quickly rose to his feet and pinned Siros up against the wall, "Where is he!? And did I just hear you say uncle!?"
"Yes, yes! He's my uncle!" Siros winced, "Sssss. Ahh! H-He called about thirty minutes ago to tell me a female patient was headed my way with a slight gunshot wound to the arm–
"Uh oh," Shin breathed,
"H-He...Ahh! He just left with her–
"Jay, stay here!" Mako ordered before sprinting out of the room toward the stairwell,

"No," Kuvira finally answered,
"No!?" Shah and Rohai repeated in unison, completely baffled by her decision,
"Kuvira–
"I said no! And this is the last conversation I want to have about it,"
"I beg you to reconsider," Rohai pleaded, "If I were you, I'd take the night and sleep on it," he bowed, waving for his agents to escort her and Shah back to their room,
"Hmph. Oh, I highly doubt one night of sleep is going to make me change my mind," Kuvira huffed before she marched out, leaving Shah sitting at the table alone,
"You seem...just as surprised as I am that she didn't accept," Rohai noted softly after sipping his tea,
"I am," Shah nodded, "I would've taken that offer in a heartbeat. A chance to start over with a clean slate? Only a fool would walk away," he hissed,
"And...do you think she's foolish enough to walk away a second time?" Rohai questioned,
"No. I think she's running from something. And I'm curious to find out what,"
"Well, since we haven't discussed the terms of your freedom just yet, I am willing to make another trade,"
"Yeah? And what would that be Captain?" Shah asked with a smug grin,
"I look the other way of the damage you caused to my Ring, return your shirshu, and let you walk out of Ba Sing Se a free man–
"I am liking the sound of this–
"But you convince Kuvira to join our ranks,"
"Hmm. I'd be willing to do that," Shah chuckled slyly, "But there is a matter of a little debt I'd like squared away back home,"
"Hmph. Name your price,"
