[Airship] Mako's Room

"This is not what I meant by put me down!" you gasped loudly, the warmth of Mako's tongue between your legs leaving you no choice but to writhe and squirm beneath him, "Y-You're still... ahh, injured,"
"Since when did you start caring about my injuries?" Mako teased as he yanked your hips closer to his mouth, the sweetness of your juices already dripping down his chin,
"Ahh! I-I don't,"
"Hmph. And I'm the terrible liar," Mako chuckled before he wiped his mouth and unbuckled his belt. No matter how many times you slept with him, Mako always had this arrogant way of making you wait, of making you desperate for him to overpower you, which he did easily and all too often, "Now, if I recall," he grinned while teasing your slick opening, "A very handsome officer just told a very pretty brat that he loved her," he reminded you before plunging into your walls,
"Fuck, M-Mako–
"Am I to believe I'm never going to hear you say it back?" he questioned with a sly grin, savoring just how tight your pulsed around him,
"I...I can't!–
"Can't or won't?" Mako hissed softly while he quickened the pace of his hips, thrusting deep until you caught your breath,
"Mmph. Don't...D-Don't do this, Mako,"
"Do what?" he whispered into your neck, sinking himself even deeper despite how tight your walls were squeezing him, "Protect you? M-Make you feel good, what?
"Tell me you love me then go and get yourself killed!" you panted over his low moans until he came to a stop. He was silent for what felt like ages, his mouth half open in shock and his dick still just as deep as he could go,

"Killed?" Mako repeated as he sat up, "So...so you do love me?" he asked a bit stunned, your chin now gently gripped between his fingers while he held your gaze,
"Duh!" you scoffed in annoyance, "It's just–if I say it. A-And something bad happens–

Mako didn't let you finish your worried thought. Instead, he kissed your lips with enough force and passion to steal the last bit of air from your lungs. You did the same in return, gripping every muscle you could get your hands on while you both moaned into each other's mouths until you couldn't help but giggle at one another like smitten idiots,

"You worry too much, you know that?"

[Dragon Flats District] Ketu's Warehouse

"Alright, people. Stay close, arms at your sides, and no looking my babies in the eye for too long or they will get testy," Ketu warned both Shah and Shin with a bright smile while he led the way. It was humid down there. Darker and smellier too. Nearly identical to how a swamp would feel, yet less terrifying with every animal that could kill you, locked away in a large cage, "Okay, on the left you got your common terrestrials," Ketu continued proudly, "We have ourselves here, our docile, yet somewhat hard to catch badgermole, tigerdillo, rabaroo, hogmonkey, and my personal favorite, the saber-tooth moose lion,"
"Does...he always do this?" Shah asked confused as he followed closely,
"What?" Shin chuckled, "He's a showman,"
"On the right here, we got our classic grazers, aardvark sloth, komodo rhino, hippo cow–
"Look, kid!" Shah finally snapped, completely out of patience, "This isn't a trip to the zoo. I need something fast. Or if you're capable of handing out a bonus, something that tracks as well,"
"If you would just let me finish!–
"Listen brat!" Shah hissed as he marched toward him and gripped the boy's shirt, "You got about thirty seconds–w-why...why are they all growling?" he asked as he looked around and found every predator with their eyes locked on him,
"Shah...I-I think you need to let him go," Shin ordered gently,
"I'd listen to him," Ketu smirked slyly before Shah shoved him away,
"Ugh. You were saying," Shah sighed angrily while he waited for Ketu to continue,
"If it's speed you want, I'd pair you up with my eel hound here. Fastest creature on both land and water,"
"Now, that's more like it!" Shah grinned after marching up to the hound's cage,
"But if it's tracking," Ketu smirked while he kept walking, eventually stopping in front of the two massive tarp-covered cages in the very back of the room, "I'd bet all my money on a shirshu any day," he winked as he removed the tarps, "Not as fast as the eel hound, but where it lacks in speed, it makes up for in its highly developed sense of smell. Their blind mostly, but give them any scent and they'll find whoever you need. Wherever you need,"
"Sold," Shah smirked evilly with his fists clenched,
"Uh-uh. We need to talk price first," Ketu scoffed, "My shirshu for three days? Looking at a thousand yuans,"
"A thousand!?" Shah gasped in disbelief,
"And I charge extra if you're late upon return–
"Y-You're a kid! W-What could you possibly need that much money for?"
"My money. My business," Ketu huffed, "And these aren't just any shirshu. They're direct descendants of the same shirshu my grandma June used to hunt down Avatar Aang. Whip and Lola here, are pros. So, it's a thousand," he reminded Shah sharply, "So I'll ask again. Do we have a deal?"
"Pros huh?" Shah repeated with a sly grin, "Alright kid. You got yourself a deal,"

[Airship] Mako's room

The sun was nearly set and you were already sound asleep, snoring lightly next to Mako while he re-read Shah's file. Though Mako was a year older and way less manic, both of them somehow ended up working for Viper at a young age. Shah's arrest records, six years ago to the date, were similar to the tasks Viper had Mako do when he was barely twelve. With each one he completed, Viper only made them more frequent and as time went on, more violent,

"I need you to watch the door," Viper ordered Mako softly when he walked up to the card table, eyeing the hands of the men who sat around puffing their cigars, their drunken eyes nearly glazed over from heavy glasses of still whiskey,
"Watch it how?" Mako asked absentmindedly as he counted up the chips and re-shuffled the deck of cards,
"That means if anyone tries to come in here, you stop them," Viper hissed as he pulled Mako out of his seat by his arm, "Got it, kid?"
"What if they come in anyway?"
"Hmph. Then they're asking to leave with a broken arm," Viper smirked slyly, "Now, remind me what's the fastest way to break an arm in two?"
"Strike the elbow," Mako nodded proudly,
"Atta boy,"

Every so often Mako would look up from reading to watch you sleep. In the short while he had known you, doing so, easily became a blissful habit of his. Like clockwork you would toss and turn, searching for his warmth while you dreamt until you found it, and sighed deeply with a slight smile on your face. Though he enjoyed watching you, it was almost too peaceful. Anyone would call him crazy if he admitted to constantly missing your brattiness and constant shouting, but every time you drifted off, the room was almost too quiet. Too calm, too hushed for his liking yet he decided to let you sleep anyway. You needed it, especially since you wouldn't be by his side come this time tomorrow, and he already knew you were a nervous wreck about the plan anyway. However, the longer he mulled it over, he couldn't help but think that maybe, just maybe Kuvira's suggestion was the better plan,

"I'll be right back," Mako whispered after kissing your cheek and slipping out of the bed quietly. He figured he'd find Kuvira in her room, staring up at the ceiling or sleeping just as deeply as you were, but to his surprise, her door was wide open, the breeze from the hallway gently blowing her hair as she sat cross-legged in the middle of the floor, lost in meditation,

"Something on your mind?" she finally asked when she felt Mako standing there, staring at her,
"You promise you can get her out of there?" Mako asked sternly as he stepped in and shut the door,
"Without a scratch," Kuvira smirked slyly as she peeked her eyes open and stretched her arms,
"Okay...We do it your way, but I have some conditions first," Mako nodded with his arms crossed, already more than annoyed with the smug grin strung across Kuvira's face,
"Hmph. Name them,"
