"Ewh. I still don't see why Baldy has to come," Shah scoffed at 93 when their cab arrived, the sun already tucking itself behind another tall building in the distance,
"He's an extra set of eyes and ears, and we're going to need them to look for this detective who apparently, wants your head on a pike," 93 sighed deeply, skimming through the morning paper,
"Hmph. I'd shoot his hands off before he even got close,"
"Yes, we are all very aware you would, but not every interaction you have has to lead with bullets," 93 reminded him,
"Sure makes conversations a lot shorter," Shah smirked,
"But not effective," 93 answered flatly,
"Ugh. God 93, I'm supposed to help the guy, not conversate civilly," Shah scoffed,
"That word's in your vocabulary?" Tenzin asked, paying the cab driver a few extra yuans,
"Yeah. Just like that bullet ripped through your leg," Shah shrugged before slipping into the backseat,

"Hmph. You're getting better," 93 grinned slightly,
"Well, arguing with him gets me nowhere, a-and choking him would be—
"Temporary relief," 93 nodded, "But he'd still find a way to provoke you. It's a...talent of his,"
"Hey, chatty grandmas, we got a pig to find," Shah called from his open window, "Get in the damn cab,"

"You seriously wanna kill this guy?" Shin asked Viper cautiously, his eyes locked on Viper's scowl through the rearview mirror,
"Dead serious," Viper stated, lighting another cigar quickly to keep his hands occupied,
"There's no way he knew you were there,"
"Yet he spoke on my name like I was on trial. Ramirro can sleep off whatever hangover he's got behind bars. He's done far longer for less. But this judge? He knows something he shouldn't,"

"Will come when she's called," Viper nodded, "And as far as Detective Mako goes? He's just another thorn in my side,"

"Shit. He's spiraling," Mako whispered to himself, watching Viper's Cadillac disappear into heavy traffic, "Making my life a living hell is one thing, but killing a judge?" he questioned, pulling his walkie from his back pocket, "090. Jay, pick up," he called impatiently, "Pick up Jay!"
"M-Mako?" Jay answered,
"Finally,"
"What happened? You're usually silent during recon,"
"Something interesting," Mako breathed, "Steel. You know him?"
"J-Judge Steel? F-From Dinahdu?" Jay asked almost in shock,
"Sounds like the one,"
"He's back in town?" Jay questioned,
"And locking up Viper's cousins as we speak,"
"Wait. Are you...at the courthouse?"
"Yeah. Just watched Ramirro get the max sentence for drunk and disorderly," Mako sighed,
"And Viper saw you!?"
"Hell no. I waited and snuck in the last row," Mako snapped, "It's just—this Steel guy has Viper rattled,"
"How rattled?"
"Enough for Viper to want him dead,"
"Wow. He's spiraling,"
"And fast," Mako sighed again, "Is she up?"
"Considering the fact that you drugged her and pounded her senseless? No. She hasn't made a peep all day,"
"I did not—Good. Means she actually sleeping,"
"Are you done tailing?" Jay asked,
"In a bit. I know Viper's headed to his restaurant, might go stake the place,"
"And get caught and killed?"
"A man can eat. Can't he?" Mako scoffed back,
"Ugh. True. I guess—there is nothing wrong with grabbing a bite. But you better make it believable, if Viper suspects you're there for anything more, then—
"I'll put the heat back on him. He and I have a deal remember?"
"Yes, one you knew he wasn't going to take literally," Jay groaned in annoyance,
