(Omgggg I have far too many things to yap about. Number one on the list. THIS MAN KISSED MEEEEEEEEE. On such a random Friday night too. All I asked was for him to drive me to Home Depot for some moving boxes. Then I made him buy me tacos, then we bought liquor, went back to my place, cuddled, watched movies, and then. Uggghhh you know the rest 😭😭😭 it was so damn good I can't even think about it for too long or I get feral again. Anyways, I got the keys to my new apartment today 😩😩 and I am just swimming in happiness because I've been wanting to move for so damn long. He helped me move some boxes today but had to rush back to work to teach a lab and I'm literally foaming at the mouth over how sweet he's been lately. We're both busy this weekend and the next but he wants to make plans for the 1st week of October to celebrate my new place🤧 ugh. I love this man.

Oh, and my ex told me he loved me again. 😐He's moving the rest of my ish on Saturday since he's basically a giant who lives at the gym. And idk how to drive a moving truck. Either way, I love my little minions and they love me 🥰

Sorry for taking 6 centuries to post (again). Everyone's been lacking brain cells at my job lately.)

Te amo mucho!

[Republic City] - Mako's apartment

"Mako, you've read those files like fifteen times. Give it a rest," Jay groaned from the couch, already more than annoyed with the constant sound of shuffling papers,
"I just–ugh. I-I feel like I missed something," Mako breathed in frustration after polishing off his third glass of whiskey,
"You've missed nothing. Shah and Viper met and history wrote itself. Crazy acorn fell from the crazy tree,"
"Yeah. B-But how? A-And when? And if he worked for Viper all these years, how come we haven't caught on until now?"
"I don't know," Jay scoffed, "Maybe...he and Viper had a falling out somehow and Shah got sloppy,"
"Hmm. Maybe," Mako sighed as he sank back in his chair, "But what if–
"Nope. No more," Jay protested after he stood and marched toward the kitchen table, "No more thinking. No more theories. No more speculations. No more hunches. No more guesses," he ordered as he quickly cleaned up Mako's files and stuffed them back into random folders,
"Jay! Careful! Y-You're messing up my order,"
"And you're messing with my buzz! Now, I thanked you for the gift and I've thanked you for not killing me after I hog-tied your girlfriend–
"I'm still mad about that–
"Regardless, it's 1:00 in the morning. For the love of god. Go to bed,"
"I will in a second–
"No. Now,"
"Jay–
"Mako!–
"Mmph. What's all this yelling?" you yawned while you stood in the doorway of Mako's bedroom, still wrapped in his blankets, "And when the hell were you going to tell me you were home?"
"Yeah Mako," Jay smirked slyly, "When were you going to tell her?"
"You be quiet," you snapped at Jay before sliding into Mako's lap, "I'm still mad at you for drugging me,"
"Oh, and you think I've just forgotten the fact that you pointed a gun at my chest earlier?" Jay questioned,
"Jay, it wasn't loaded," Mako smirked after planting a kiss on your forehead,
"Ugh. Do you think she knew that!?"
"No. But I already said I wasn't going to shoot you,"
"And you think I knew that!?"
"Hmph. You should've," you sighed tiredly into Mako's chest, "And besides, I wouldn't have tried to shoot you if you didn't try and drug me!"
"I did more than try sweetheart. I succeeded," Jay huffed, "A-And be realistic here. You were prescribed these drugs," he reminded you before rummaging through his pocket and reading the bottle quickly, "And I assure you, I gave you the proper dosage–oh,"
"Oh?" you repeated in disbelief,
"Jay. Give it," Mako ordered with his hand out,
"I-In my defense, the writing is extremely small and I had to hide the pills in a grilled cheese sandwich for her to actually take them,"
"So. How many did you end up giving her?"
"Two. M-Maybe three. I-I'm not too sure now after those shots,"
"Jay she's only supposed to have one per day!"
"I-Is she?" Jay asked sheepishly, slowly backing away from the both of you,
"Hmph. I told you he drugged me,"
"I'll deal with it," Mako reassured you as he helped you to your feet, "Get back in bed. I'll be there in a minute,"
"Hmm. I guess in a minute you'll be dead," you taunted Jay before heading towards Mako's room,
"Look. Mako. I-I know you're pissed," Jay gulped,
"Pissed?" Mako questioned, swiping the half-drunken whiskey bottle from the coffee table before pouring two shots,
"Okay. Beyond pissed,"
"No. No. Not pissed," Mako grinned, "Why don't you sit?"
"Because you got that crazy look in your eye,"
"Ha. Crazy. Look?" Mako chuckled,
"Yeah. The one where it looks like you're going to choke a man out cold with a smile on your face,"
"Nonsense. Sit Jay. Let's...celebrate,"
"I don't know. T-This feels like a setup," Jay speculated, "Like, I sit and you ram a steak knife through my jugular,"
"Sit Jay," Mako sighed, downing the first shot after sliding the second across the table,
"So...you're not mad?" Jay questioned, taking his shot quickly,
"Mad?" Mako laughed, "Here. Have another,"
"Yes, mad. Because this...strangely feels like I'm being rewarded,"
"Maybe you are," Mako smirked, pouring another shot for himself and two for Jay,
"I– still don't trust this. You're mad I can tell," Jay panicked a little, "You usually have three tiers of rage: blind, violent, and bloodthirsty. As long as I've known you, you've never been...calm. A-And this is scaring me more than the others,"
"Maybe it's because I'm not mad," Mako smiled lightly, pouring Jay two more shots and gladly watching him take them back without a care in the world,
"Oh, y-you're something my friend. B-Because I know you," Jay slurred,
"Oh yeah? If you know me so well, then what am I?" Mako asked with a big grin,
"Y-You–You're...You're drunk," Jay chuckled as he struggled to pull himself to his feet,
"Nope. Definitely not drunk," Mako smirked with his arms crossed while Jay stumbled to the couch,
"Then that tears it! You're mad I knew it!" Jay shouted,
"I'm not mad Jay," Mako sighed after tossing a blanket over Jay who could barely keep his eyes open at that point, "But we are even,"
"Even?" Jay hiccupped, "Mmmm. Even. Even. Even,"
"Hmph. Sleep tight buddy,"

[Crystal Catacombs] - Rohai's quarters

"Wait here," Kuvira ordered Shah when the guards stopped in front of the door,
"What? No. I'm coming with you,"
"The last time you were in here he nearly killed you," Kuvira hissed,
"And now we've reached an accord. Therefore, I'm coming with,"
"Ugh. Fine. Just keep your comments to yourself,"
"Do I have to promise that? Because I love you and all but I will not–
"Shah. Not now," Kuvira huffed before shoving him ahead of her,
"Hmph. You heal fast," Rohai nodded when his eyes landed on Shah,
"Apparently not fast enough," Shah breathed, "Lungs are a little tight still,"
"Well you were about to suffocate," Rohai smirked, "And if I'm being honest, I must say I'm a little disappointed we're not planning your funeral right now. I don't like to be proven wrong very much,"
"Speaking of. Remind me to kick your ass for that,"
"Shah," Kuvira snapped at him,
"I'm kidding,"
"Not that you'd be able to lay a finger on me even if I let you, I still appreciate the empty threat. Now, to what do I owe this pleasure?"
"I just figured you'd like to know that Kuvira is being tracked as we speak," Shah answered quickly,
"Ahh. Yes. By the airbender," Rohai smiled slyly,
"Wait. You know?" Kuvira asked,
"Hmm. Of course I know. Did you forget where you were? The Dai Li knows everything that happens in this city. Whether people want us to or not," Rohai stated sternly, "And soon you will too,"
"So you know and you're doing nothing?" Shah asked frustratedly,
"Precisely,"
"That's the stupidest plan I've ever heard,"
"Shah–
"What!? It Is!"
"Oh? And what exactly would you suggest we do?" Rohai questioned,
"I don't know. Capture him like you did the both of us. I-I mean you threatened to brainwash me, drop me in the Si Wong Desert to be eaten by buzzard wasps if I lied to you and you're telling me you're letting Baldy walk?"
"For the record, you did lie to me–
"Shah they can't kill him. He's a councilman," Kuvira reminded him, "H-He has a wife and kids–
"So? You don't think these yahoos haven't whacked off a few politicians?"
"As much as I appreciate the ruthlessness, Kuvira's right. Killing the airbender is senseless,"
"Senseless!?" Shah argued,
"Shah. Corner!" Kuvira barked,
"I! –Ugh. Y-You're lucky I love you," Shah huffed before doing exactly as Kuvira ordered,
"Wow. You have him trained well," Rohai chuckled,
"Hey, I heard that. And I am not trained buddy. Until you've had her like I have you'd also be standing in this damn cor–
"Shah!"
"Fine! Guess I'll just head back to our room then," Shah hissed as he marched out the door,
"I–uhh. Sorry about him," Kuvira breathed,
"No need," Rohai chuckled, "I see why you like him. He's...opinionated, but...unwavering. Although I don't care for his mouth, he's definitely grown on me,"
"Yeah. He has that effect on people. I just– ugh, with Tenzin. Y-You don't understand. He's not going to go back to Republic City without me,"
"So, what would you do in this situation?" Rohai questioned, "You are going to be in charge of at least half of my men soon,"
"I...I don't know I guess...I'd give it to him straight,"
"And you think that message would be well received? That he'd leave if we just told him to?"
"I mean. With half your men standing there," Kuvira sighed, "H-He'd have to,"

Mako's apartment

"Did you kill him?" you asked Mako when he came in and stripped from his shirt,
"Who Jay?" he chuckled as he got into bed and pulled you close, "Yeah. Killed him with kindness. And about a third of a bottle of whiskey,"
"Ugh. So he's still breathing?" you groaned,
"Barely," Mako laughed, "He has about seven shots deep and snoring soundly on our couch,"
"Our?" you questioned as you sat up, "Mako, I-I don't live h–

He didn't let you finish. In fact, Mako stole whatever uncertainty resting on your lips with his. You wanted to protest but you had been longing to kiss him like this again, to melt into his arms while he inhaled your tiny moans,

"So move in," Mako finally breathed, "Or, I can take some time off work and we can tour some places in the city,"
"Okay, now you're officially insane," you gasped when he kissed down your neck, his fingers already stripping you out of every piece of clothing in his way,
"I'm serious," he reassured you as he kissed your bare chest, his teeth grazing your nipples ever so lightly,
"Ahh! W-Why would you ask me this now when you're in the middle of this case?" you panted when he stood, yanked you to the edge of the bed by your thighs, and dropped to his knees, his hot breath bouncing against clit,
"Hmph. When was I supposed to ask?" Mako smirked before slurping hungrily, tasting every inch of you no matter how hard you fought against the pleasure,
"Shit! I!– M-Maybe when Viper doesn't have a target painted on your back," you shrieked, your toes curling from the pressure of his hungry tongue, "Or more importantly, when he isn't stalking me at every turn,"
"I'll handle him," Mako hissed after wiping his mouth against his bare arm, his hardness already throbbing when he dropped his shorts and teased your slick opening, "This is about us," he whispered when he forced himself inside,
"Mako!–
"Breathe," he ordered sternly, grasping your chin to hold your focus,
"I am!" you cried out as he inched his way deeper,
"No, you're arguing. And I don't think you get it," Mako heaved, leaning all of his weight into your walls when your nails dug into his back, "This isn't up for debate,"
"Fuck! I–A-And if I say no?"
"I'll keep asking," Mako snapped back at you, hugging you closer by the waist so you could feel just how deep he was,
"Damn it!–
"Either way. The second this case is over, I'm not letting you walk out that door," Mako breathed, "Not without me,"
"Mako don't do thi–
"Move in with me," he pleaded, thrusting through your tightness, the force of his hips distracting you from thinking clearly,
"Mako!–
"Mmph. I-I don't want to come home and you're not here," Mako moaned, "Ever,"
"Fuck! I–
"I lost you twice!" Mako shouted over your desperate cries,
"Ahh. God!–
"I won't make that mistake a third time," he huffed angrily,
"Mako, please," you begged, taking each of his rough kisses without catching a breath, his dick so far down deep he was bound to break you,
"I'll cook. I'll clean," Mako promised in between kisses, pounding into you faster and harder, "You won't have to lift a finger,"
"I!–
"Just stay with me,"
"Fu–Fuck! Fine! Fine! Fine! Fuck Mako you win," you screamed as you clawed into his back, savoring every second he fucked you despite how spent you were, "I'll...I'll stay with you,"

Tenzin's Journal

I've been given a note. Signed from no one, dropped on my table by a stranger who was there one second and gone the next, while I'm seated outside a diner past midnight. I knew they were watching me. I just didn't expect it to be my every move. I'll have to hand it to my father, the Dai Li's tactics are tight-lipped. And since I don't have even the slightest clue of the number of agents in their ranks, I'd be an idiot to follow the latter of their warning:

If you know what's good for you. Return to Republic City.
If you don't, Lake Laogai at dawn.

Unfortunately, the Dai Li has underestimated my motives. I'm not here for what's good for me. I'm here for Kuvira.
