Chapter 72: Stones of Luck

Y'all. CHAPTER 72??? Have we lost the plot? HELL NO CUZ I'VE BEEN WRITING THIS SHIT LMAO but anywaaays......DRAMAAAA has transpired but NOT FOR MEEEE🤪🤪🤪 So long story short, yinz remember that geriatric skeletal fuck of a manager I used to have??? Who basically started bullying me at my old job because she's incompetent and dumber than a bag of hammers? So back in January I resigned the day I was supposed to return from winter break and she held an emergency staff meeting and told my old crew she was gonna do all of my work. Y'ALL she lasted 48 hours. Not only that her bosses said oh?? YOU'RE the reason Amber quit?? Yeah we ain't hiring NOBODY. So she's been written up multiple times for not meeting deadlines while mommy is free as a bird at her new job, completley stress free 😁😁 that ain't even the kicker though.

I heard from multiple sources she apparently tried to text someone on the team like: Help. Bout to pass out.🥴 Nobody looked for her for like 20 minutes. She was in a stall and that other dumb bitch I used to supervise (the double-fist laxative guzzler) had to crawl under the stall to free that fool from her porcelain shackle. It took four women and a man to hoist that balding whale off that thing and she had to get hauled out via ambulance. 

OH yinz remember the bald goblin? Yeah that recessive gene gnome shaped dumbass? HE IS STILL ASKING ABOUT ME WHILE APPARENTLY MOVING IN WITH HIS NEW PICKMEISHA. Like boyyyy you could get hit by an ambulance coming to save you and I still wouldn't fix my fingers to call another. Lmaooo

I do have a theory though y'all. Let me paint the scene.

A man. Barely. Heavy on barely. Doesn't move out of his parents place until he's 31 (for contrast I moved out at 18). Is now....suddenly moving in with the girl he told our one coworker he "guesses he's just going to make things work with her" in the same breath also asking about my sex position preferences?? Sir SPARE that girl for the love of god. She knows no better and you're a walking talking spiritual leech. But my theory is, he got too "overwhelmed" with being an adult and now wants to coast off of another woman's back. 

It's nothing new of course, my ex of seven years is doing the same with a Jamaican woman he barely knows and stole from his best friend/business partner of ten years. And the kicker? Both of them are Taurus Suns. Granted we can't know for sure why he's moving in with her at all but guys I did ask the goblin was he going to treat her well? And the first thing out of his mouth was not a resounding yes but uhhhh: I'm...I'm gonna try. 

And my response that day: well you don't even have to try, she has low self-esteem and she'll never leave you🤷🏽‍♀️which I was right about because while she was on Bumble struggling to get a third date I had the goblin and five other my minions buying me whatever I asked for. For three years we would all go out as coworkers (pickmeisha included) and she had to watch him pay all of my bar tabs, my birthday celebrations and my promotion dinner while she sat there and tongue-dipped my crumbs. 

I honestly don't even have the heart to brag and say that his parents called me their favorite kid and they forgot her name depsite meeting them more times than I did. Well she does have a link to this fanfic so everybody say hi if she's lurking somewhere 😂😂

Mako's room — 4:15 am


It was quiet when Mako's watch buzzed on the nightstand next to him, pulling him from his deep sleep before he turned to check on you,

"Four in the morning?" Shah groaned tiredly from the floor,
"4:15 actually" Mako yawned,
"You're lucky she's a heavy sleeper," Shah smirked as he stared at the ceiling, "She would've bit your head off for waking her up this early,"
"Trust me. She sleeps till noon no matter how early I wake her,"
"I know I'm gonna regret asking this, but why the hell are you up this early?" Shah pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration,
"I'm a cop, remember?"
"Ugh. Don't remind me,"
"Too late, we gotta finalize this plan sometime and I'd prefer today," Mako sighed after he slipped from the bed, "So go wake Jay and make coffee. A lot of it,"
"Me?" Shah questioned as he sat up, "And you'll be?"
"Making her breakfast," Mako nodded to you still snoring beneath his blankets,
"Fine," Shah caved before he stood, "By the time she gets up it'll be lunch, but by all means, make her breakfast,"
