~ 2 weeks later~

My vacation was over and I was at the airport waiting for my flight. Dakota sat next to me holding my hand. We spent everyday together. I can't believe our time is up.

"Flight 205 to Los Angeles, California is now boarding."

"That's your flight babe." Dakota Said.

"I guess it is." I stood up and grabbed my book bag."

"I'll come visit you all the time and I'll call you everyday." Dakota said.

"You're making this A LOT harder than I wanted it to be. I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you more."

I gave Dakota a hug and I started crying.

"It's okay. I promise, everything will be okay."

"Come on Munchkin, We gotta go." My dad said.

"Call me when you land okay?"

"Okay," Dakota gave me another hug.

"Bye Dakota."

"See ya, Don't forget to call me."

"I won't."

"You have to go."

I walked away with the rest of my family.

"It's okay Angelina. You'll see him again." My dad said as we walked on the plane.
I stayed quiet until we were in the air.

"Daddy?"

"Yes?"

"Why are good byes so hard?"

"I don't know,"

" I miss him..." I started crying again. My dad held me in his arms through the rest of the flight.

I miss him so much that it physically hurts. I just miss him.
