Vikk's POV

"Hey! Vikk, can you help me with this?" Lilly asks from across the room. I hop up, hurrying over to her.

She's trying to move our furniture over to a different spot on the wall. We push the cabinet a few feet over, centring it under the painting.

She stands up straight and brushes off her hands. "Thank you Vikk, you're an angel." She smiles softly at me.

I nod to her, sitting back on the couch and getting comfortable. I pull my phone out and start to scroll through Instagram. I leave a comment or two on a few of my friends posts and keep scrolling.

Today hasn't been much of anything. I've mostly been sitting around in my living room. I decided that it would be a good idea to make my way outside and enjoy the weather before it starts to get super cold once again.

It is the middle of October, so the leaves are starting to fall and the weather is getting much colder. I slip my phone into my pocket and stand up. I rush over to my bedroom, throwing on a heavier jacket and slipping on my shoes.

As i make my way out the door, i yell to Lilly that I'll be back later. She hums some sort of reply, but i leave before she gets the chance to finish. I walk down the sidewalk, no specific destination in mind.

I see an elderly lady looking to cross the street, but she looked a bit confused. She was a lot shorter than I am, so i walk up to her.

"Hey miss, did you need help?" I ask her softly. She looks over to me and smiles softly, nodding her head. I hold out my arm to her to to hold, and we start walking. "Where are you headed?" I ask her softly, warm smile filling my face.

She hums for a moment, thinking to herself. "Just the cafe up the street, unsure how to get there" She says slowly. I nod and we head towards the cafe. We make small talk on the way over to the cafe. As we walk up to the door of the place, she smiles softly at me.

"Thank you young man. You are an angel" She says happily to me. I smile at her, waving her into the cafe, to which i follow right after. She heads off in a different direction and i head to the counter.

I decided to just grab a coffee before heading out on my walk again. It seemed like it was nice out, but i would prefer to be going on a walk with a coffee in my hand. I order my drink and wait to the side for it to be ready.

"For Vikk" the cashier yells out to me. I thank her and start to walk out the door. I head to the sidewalk to the left of me. I decided to go take a walk at the park before i head home again.

The weather has seemed to hold up quite well for the time of year, not too cold or too hot. I take in the lovely weather and go towards the park bench near the sidewalk. I enjoy people watching, so relaxing at the park is my perfect afternoon.

I see a few different people, a few different families with kids playing on the structure. They are laughing and having fun as they run around and play some sort of game together.

I see an older man running after a dog who is much faster than him. I take no time but to get up and run after the dog as well. The older man yells after him, "Charlie! Come back!" He runs after the dog. I finally catch up to the dog, grabbing the leash that's hooked on his collar.

The man catches up to me, out of breath from the running. "Thank you so much! I'm getting too old to run after this dog. Hes much quicker than I am." He says to me as i hand over the rope to him.

"Not a problem, I don't mind." I smile back to him. "Well whats your name kid?" He asks to me. I smile down at Charlie, giving him a small pat on the head. "Vikk." I simply say to him.
