It's been 5 months since i got together with my lovely boyfriend, Josh. It's actually pretty funny on how we met. All because of Vikk, Shockers right? Ha. Just kidding.
"Lachhhlannnn!" He smiled walking over to me. "What?" I smiled back. I take out my phone and go through any social media i have. "I love you" He says kissing my cheek.
"I love you too Joshy" I smile at him. "Can i show you a song?" He asks taking out his phone. "Yeah sure." I say, putting my phone away.
He goes to his playlist 'Cute Songs'. He's cheesy, I know. He clicks it and scrolls through. I stand there looking between him and his phone.
He had the biggest smile-also the cutest may i add- on his face. I smiled to my self thinking about him being happy. It's not super uncommon but it can be.
"Alright babe, Tell me what you think of it. By the way it's a cover." He smiles clicking on a song and it started to play. It had a beautiful beat to it. Something I've never heard.
As soon as the voice came in i knew who it was. Shawn Mendes. I didn't recognize the actually song but i listened to the lyrics more closely.
Josh is looking at me with a beautiful smile on his face. "I can hear your heart.On the radio beat" He sang. Then it all clicked.
This was the song Josh had played on our first date. It was the song playing when we first kissed. Tears came to my eyes as i looked up at him, shocked.
"I love you Lach." He smiles. I pull him into a huge hug, kissing his shoulder. "I love you so goddamn much Joshy" I smile trying my best not to cry.
"So open your eyes and see,The way our horizons meet" He sang pulling back and looking at me.
"And all of the lights will lead, Into the night with me " I sang, not using my voice but more lip synced it.
"This is amazing. Why did you want to show it to me if i already knew?" I asked, my smiling not even close to fading.
"I wanted to remind you of us. You seemed down and i didn't like that." He said smile faltering for a second and then coming right back.
"Thank you" I breathed. "As always, My pleasure." He smiles, tipping an invisible hat. "Dork" I laughed. "As are you" He sighed, happily.
"Yeah. But I'm your dork." He smiles.
"That for sure.And i plan on keeping it that way." I say.
"I agree. Okay?" He asks.
"Okay." I nod.
