Vikk's POV
It's hard. Watching the person you like, a lot, be totally clueless to you. Josh Bradley was the guy everyone loved. He was the definition of perfect i swear.
I was in their social group. The group consisted of him, Simon, Tobi, Harry, JJ, Ethan and I. It was going perfect until i started crushing on Josh.
I knew he didn't feel the same, he was Bi but didn't have eyes for me. I stare lovingly at Josh as he laughs at something Ethan had said. I frown, knowing i couldn't do the same.
It was almost the end of the day, which i was very thankful for. I heard the others talk about going to this bowling alley after school.
Somewhere slightly out of town and not busy what so ever.It was Friday, so we could actually be out late without our parent's saying no or having a curfew.
The bell rings just as Mr.Whatever finishes writing something on the board. " You'll be having a test on Monday! Prepare! Chapters 4-6" He yells. I walk out of class.
I head over to the boys who were over at Harry's locker. "So Vikk bro, You down to go bowling, yeah?" Ethan asked. "Yeah sure mate" I smile.
I look over at Josh who was already staring back at me. We kept eye contact for almost a minute. "Erm uh..I-I gotta go.Just text me the details. Bye guys" I stutter, my face going a slight tint of red.
They looked at me like i was crazy as i glanced at Josh once more. I turn around and practically run out the doors. I hear footsteps behind me as i see the last person i wanted to see right now.
"Vikk, wait up!" He yelled out. I run a little faster, but still slow. He manages to catch up to me and stop me. I keep my gaze down, not wanting to make eye contact.
"Vikk, what happened back there?" He asked sweetly. "I don't know. You tell me" I spat. "We were staring at each other. What's so bad bout that?" He asks, placing his hands on my shoulders.
I slowly look up at him, worry filling his eyes. "We looked at each other a little to long to be just friends." I muttered sadly. His face went pale, as if he was told something horrible.
I pull gently out of his grip, turning around and walking down the pavement. "Bye Josh. I'll see you tonight" I say, leaving Josh confused.
I make it all the way to my house and enter the front door. "Hey sweetheart" My mum says. "Hi" I mumble, tears pricking my eyes.
"How was your day, love?" She asks as i sit down at the island. "Fine" I whisper. She looks over at me and sees a few tears fall down my face. "Vikk, Love" She sighs, walking over to me.
She pulls me into a hug as i just cry. "Is it that Josh kid again?" She whispers. I nod my head knowing my voice would fail me other wise. "Oh honey. You need to get over him. He's tearing you apart" She whispers, rubbing my back.
I nod, pulling away from her. "I got you some items in that box over there" She smiles, placing her hand on my shoulder. "Thanks mum" I smile, wiping away the stray tears.
"Welcome." She says, returning to her spot. "I'm going out bowling tonight out of town. I can actually wear what you got me!" I smile.
I run to the box which was set upon the living room table. I pick it up, bringing it up to my room. I open the box carefully. I remove one of the- what looks like- 3 bags.
Out of that i pull out a pretty pastel blue skirt along with pink stockings with little blue bows on the tops. I smile, setting them aside gently.
I pull open the next bag to find a pair of galaxy converse with a light white-ish pink flower crown. I smile, setting them with the skirt and stockings.
Out of the last bag i pull out a pastel pink shirt which has 'Bubblegum bitch' written across it. I smirk, setting it aside.
Last but not least it was followed by a necklace which said 'Princess' on it. I stand up, pulling off my shirt and my other clothing.
I throw on the shirt and skirt first. I was standing in front of the mirror, so i could see what it looked like. I honestly loved it.
It was then followed by putting on my stockings. I rolled them up as my phone buzzes in my pocket. I pull it out and see i had a new messaged from Simon.
Simonè: We'll be there to pick you up at 8.
I look at the time, it being 7:45. I quickly pull up my other stocking. I brush my fingers through my hair messily, putting on my flower crown and my necklace.
I slip on my converse, walking down the stairs. "You look amazing!" My mum says from the kitchen that i had just walked by.
"Thanks mum. I gotta be ready in like 5 minutes." I call, pulling on my jacket. I hear a car pull up in the drive way. "Gotta go mum!" I say. She walks out, pulling me into a quick hug.
"Love you bye" She says as i walk away. "Love you too!" I say. I run out to their car, jumping into the back seat with none other than Josh.
Simon was driving, Ethan was shotgun. Then it went harry, Tobi and JJ. Josh and I being in the back. So really i had no where else to sit unless i wanted to sit on one of their laps, which wouldn't be ideal.
"Cute skirt." Josh mumbles. "Thanks" I smile. He places his hand on my leg just above my knee, Almost at my thigh.
Maybe he didn't mean to, he wasn't paying attention, so it's possible. I just leave it there, not knowing what to do.
Maybe he was just leading me on.
