Vikk's POV
I fix the cuffs on my slate coloured dress shirt and pat down my pants. I planned a dinner with my boyfriend at this super fancy restaurant tonight.
I was super excited because this is our anniversary of 2 years and i was so happy to be with Tobi. He's super sweet. I finalize my look by running my fingers messily through my hair.
I hop down the stairs happily and grab my car keys. Since he doesn't live with me, we're driving to the place then meeting up. I jump into my red car that has a charcoal coloured interior.
I make my way down the street to the restaurant, pulling into a parking spot. I don't see Tobi's truck anywhere, so that must mean I'm early. I walk into the restaurant, asking for the Barn table.
A kind gentleman takes me to my table for two. I didn't realize i was early because i though i left on time, he must be a little late i guess. I sit down and get a glass of water while i wait. It was quite crowded but that was okay because it was still somewhat quiet.
I wait for a while, about 10 minutes going by. Tobi is still not here and the waiter has come over 3 times. I texted Tobi a few times, asking where he was. He still hasn't answered.
"Are you ready to order?" The slightly annoyed waiter asked me. "No thanks, my friend isn't here yet." I smile sweetly. He tilts his head slightly but nods. I sigh and sink into my seat slightly.
-Time Skip-
It's been an hour and he's still not here. People are whispering and staring. The waiter looked like he was ready to kick me out. Everyone, and i mean everyone, is staring at me sitting alone since i have been for an hour.
I sigh, knowing that Tobi wasn't coming at all.
"Hey sorry babe. Traffic was busy and i got caught in it." A voice had said. A tall blonde had sat down in front of me, saying that loud enough to shift peoples attentions back to their dates. He smiled at me while everyone stopped staring.
"I don't know who you came here with, but he's a total douche bag." He whispers to me. "Food? My treat?" He asked so kindly. I nod slightly.
"I can pay." I smile. "Nah babe, I can." He smiles as i noticed a few people staring at us still. "Alright."
-After Dinner-
We walk through the park. It's was silent and slightly cold due to it being night time. "Was it really you guys 2 year?!" He exclaims. I nod and look down.
"Where does this kid live, I'm gonna beat his ass up." He laughs, trying to lighten the mood. "If i told you that, I'd get killed." I laughed slightly. He glances over at me, smiling.
"How could someone let down someone like you. You're adorable." He says. I blush and look down. "My names Lachlan by the way." He says, holding his hand out. "Vikk" I smile, shaking it.
I let go of his hand only for him to intertwine them back together. I glance down at our hands, smile slowly making it's way to my face. I didn't know where Tobi was, nor did i care. He can find someone else to let down and just ditch.
"I think i should be going home now."Lachlan says, sighing. "Oh okay." I frown. "But hey, I'll see you around sometime." He smiles, turning to in front of me.
"Give me your phone." I say, holding my other hand out. He gives me a questioned look but handed it over. I entered my phone number and labeled the contact 'Vikk'. I handed it back to him.
"Call or text me whenever." I smile. He glaces down at his phone and smiles. "Awesome, thanks." he says. I look him in the eyes, having to look upwards.
He reaches his hand up to my cheek, holding it softly. I step a little closer and he brings my face closer to his. I push my lips onto his in a gentle kiss. I pull back slightly, resting my forehead on his.
I smile slightly, not caring about everything around us. I guess this didn't turn out half bad.
