Harry and Ginny have got back together after the war and are returning back to Hogwarts along with Ron, Hermione and many others. Will their Eight Year at Hogwarts be normal? Let's find out!
This is another 'Marriage Law' Fanfic, what's uncommon? We...
The prefects, plus Ron, had just finished planning for the Hogwarts Halloween Fair.
"Alright everyone, time to leave for today." Harry said, checking his watch, "Ron, Hermione stay up for a bit."
Everyone except the Golden Trio, plus Ginny left.
"Ginny, you too leave." Ron said pointedly and Harry nodded with what he hoped was an apologetic look.
As Ginny turned around and left, Harry hastily charmed Mufflitoon the door and turned towards his two bestfriends.
"First, thank you Ron," Harry said and Ron nodded, "Second, I charmed the door 'cause Gin is standing outside trying to eves drop and she is also going to use the extendable ear, it doesn't work with Mufflito on." he said, turning to Hermione.
"What do you want to hide from her?" Ron asked in his protective brotherly sense, sitting down.
Harry and Hermione followed.
"Probably something -" Hermione began but Harry silenced her down, raising a hand.
"I want to hide a surprise from Gin, and I need the help of you two 'cause you are my bestfriends." Harry said.
"What are you planning?" Hermione asked, hint of eagerness in her voice.
"To propose her." Harry said, taking a breath.
"What!?" Ron said exactly at the same time, "She is just Seventeen!"
Hermione shook her head disapprovingly, but let Harry speak this time.
Harry opened his mouth to say what he had presumably planned but Ron spoke faster. "You have been in a relationship only for 6 months, and before you broke up 3, let's add them and so you have been in a relationship with my sister only for nine months and you want to propose her!"
Shocking for both Hermione and Ron, Harry laughed. "We broke up right, but did we really?"
Ron was at a lose of words and Hermione admired how wisely Harry had chosen those words, The Chosen One really did pay attention when she was tutoring him. "No." Hermione broke the silence. "I caught you several times stalking her on the map," she laughed, "and according to Neville and Luna, Ginny would wear your hoodies, that I forgot to pack, and sulk around all day lost in memories," It was bittersweet, Hermione thought and after a few seconds added "except from when they were planning something for the DA."
"But still-" Ron began, "I have two very good reasons to not delay." Harry cut between him, grinning. Something was wrong with him, was all Hermione could think.
"1. I am soooooo in love with your sister Roonil," Harry said, stretching out the 'so' to emphasize what he was saying, "and 2. According to the Law, I have to marry her by the end of this term, no matter how young we are."
Harry had grown smart, he had, atleast in matters like this. Hermione thought and laughed.
"What are you laughing at?" Harry asked eyeing Hermione like she had gone mental.
"Nothing." She said, shaking her head, "So when are you planning to do so?"
"Halloween, lost my everything on that day, what about a new start?" Harry answered, smiling bitter-sweetly.
"That-that's sweet." Hermione said and Ron nodded thoughtfully.
"So we are planning a whole fare for your stupid proposal?" Ron said, setting the group to laughter.
"You got a ring?" Ron asked suddenly.
Harry and Hermione were shocked at this sudden change of mood but Harry nodded and slowly retrieved the small velvety red box that he had taken from his mother's vault and handed it to Ron and Hermione. "My mother's." He said.
Hermione gasped as Ron slowly opened the box, "This is so beautiful Harry!" She exclaimed, turning to him. "And the message too." Ron added.
Harry raised his hands accusingly, "Thanks to Dad and the fact mum was a Redhead." he said chuckling.
"Hmm, you can propose while playing one on one Quidditch, hide the ring in the snitch." Ron said thoughtfully.
"Or hide it in a fake Quaffle and when it will hit a spot and crack, there will be the ring there." Hermione said.

After an hour of planning, they hid under the invisibility cloak and made their way back to their common room, avoiding Flich and Mrs.Norris with the help of The Marauders Map.

"Took you long." Ginny said, trying hard to not be icy but failing.
"Just a catch up of three old friends." Harry said, it was maybe the first time he was lying to her.
Ginny visibly warmed up, "There is a letter for you." she said, handing him a crisp slightly yellow letter.
Harry tossed it in the fire on seeing the return address, Romilda, siriusly, this girl can come and talk to him directly and with all his experience, Harry knew it was a love letter.
★★★★★★
That's it for today.
Shoutout to Potter-girl-2010 for the idea that Ron suggested here
and The Cracked Quaffle one is based on a chapter from the third book of my favourite ff series - ‘After All, Harry’ from ‘Forever, Ginny’ series by pottyweepotter.
Also I re-published my last chapter ‘A start to Deamus’ today.
Comment and give me your suggestions on how would Harry actually propose.
