Harry Potter and The Twisted Laws

An unexpected visit

"Hogwarts." A girl with long silky black hair said, her voice tinted with nervousness.

The potrait swung open to reveal an amazingly cozy yet beautiful room. Cho Chang, silently stepped in and began looking around. As she entered a voice spoke up.

"Cho - is that you? I haven't seen you in a while." The dreamy voice said. Cho turned around to see a blondie sitting on the crouch, criss-crossed. Her wand tucked up behind her ear as she was reading The Quibbler.

Cho could vividly remember the time that book had got famous, it was on the day of her and Harry's first and last date. Things had ended terribly for them and so, she was nervous to meet him again. She had seen him in the war, fighting, and when it all ended, she even approached him but didn't had the courage to talk to him.

"Hi Luna!" Cho said and hated that her voice was a bit shaky.

"What brings you here on this fine weekend?" The blondie asked, not at all surprised to see her fellow Ravenclaw.

"I erm... needed to talk to Harry." Cho said, finally building up the courage needed.

"And why do you want to meet Harry Potter at 8 in the morning?" another voice said sharply.

Cho turned towards a staircase to see a brunette girl coming down, a book in her hand and wand in another. Hermione Granger. She had ruined their relationship, she had called Harry to meet her in The Three Broomsticks. Maybe she was Harry's soulmate, but Harry had always said they were just friends.

"Are you Harry's soulmate?" were the words that escaped Cho's mind and then her mouth.

Hermione looked amused, "No, I am not." she said calmly and came and sat beside Luna.

"Sorry." Cho muttered but was sure that her apology didn't reached the person it was sent to.

"So, why do you want to meet Harry?" Hermione asked again.

"I had some urgent and privet work." Cho said silently.

Hermione sighed, "I don't know if he is available -"

"But he is a morning person!" Oops

Hermione raised a single eyebrow, "How do you know?"

"I saw him flying in the early hours of morning manier times." Cho said, knowing it will be no good lying.

"Yes, he is a morning person but I am still afraid he may be busy at the moment." Hermione said calmly.

Was Hermione Harry's secratary or something? The way this girl was talking to her.

"Although I reckon we can give it a try." The Brunette continued.

Cho nodded and watched as Hermione ascended the largest staircase in the room.

Hermione knocked on the door two times and whispered something before opening it. As she had predicted, Harry was busy. Busy in staring at Ginny, who was sleeping. Creepy if you had asked her.

"Harry." She said, her voice low as to not wake Ginny up but sharp enough to bring Harry out of his trance.

"Who - Hermione!" Harry said and made his way out of the bed.

Hermione shook her head disapprovingly before speaking "You have got a visitor."

Harry stared at her, confused, urging her to say more.

"Come down in five minutes and mind putting a shirt on." Hermione said and left the room.

Harry shook Ginny, "Hermione says there is a visitor for me." He whispered to her.

"You go Harry, I'll come down in a mo' " came the reply.

Harry mindlessly put a shirt on and went downstairs, his eyes widened in shock as he saw who the visitor was - Cho Chang, why was she here?

"Yes?" Harry said calmly, sitting on a chair.

"Er, morning Harry, sorry to disturb -"  Cho began but got distracted as another person entered the room.

"You didn't really disturbed us" Ginerva Weasley said, sitting at the armrest of Harry's chair.

"Morning love." She added to Harry and he mumbled a reply, not audible to Cho.

So she was his soulmate, not Hermione, no.

"I am here for a privet word..." Cho said.

Harry raised an eyebrow interestingly, "I don't think I will hide something from these two girls," he said pointing at Hermione and Ginny, "and Luna can stay too."

Cho shook her head, she had to say it aloud. "I shall leave Harry, thank you for trusting me though, it's Rolf's time to wake." Luna said and went to her own room.

"You know my soulmate, he - he is your cousin."

"DUDLEY!?" Harry exclaimed, this can't be happening, no no no.

Cho nodded. "I - er - I came to know he is your cousin -"

"Do the Dursleys know you are a witch?"

Cho nodded yet again.

"How did they take it?"

"Dudley took it quite well and Petunia too but Vernon was angry and well we  had to deal with him at first but then silenced him down. For first he had problem with me being Chinese and than a witch. I had to silence him. He was shocked at first, how did you live with him for 17 years?"

That's it for today and I have thinking about this chapter from soo long!

Also, I have some news, I am writing oneshots. They are still draft and if you want, I will publish them.
