Another bright morning at the Burrow was brought in on the morning of Christmas Eve.

The askew house was full of people moving from here to there, getting on with last-moment things and the house was filled with the odour of enticing meals, cooked in the kitchen.

As the evening drew on, the burrow started getting guests.

Bill and Fleur were the first to arrive. George and Angelina, followed by Fred were next.

Lastly, there came Percy, shortly followed by Audrey.

Charlie wasn't coming this year, there was some urgent need with the Dragons in Romania.

It was nice, but Ron seemed a bit too off.

It became obvious, however, when he got up and left as the Burrow started getting crowded.

Harry got up too, "Hermione, are you coming?"

Hermione nodded, getting up.

They ran up the staircases and stopped in front of Ron's room.

Hermione knocked, "Ron?"

There was no reply but gentle sobs could be heard

She knocked again.

"I am coming in." Harry declared and tried the door.

It didn't budge and he laughed sarcastically, "Seriously Roonil? Forgot that I am a wizard?"

Harry took out his wand and tapped the doorknob as he muttered "Alohomora"

There was a small tick and he opened the door.

Ron was sitting on his bed, hugging his knees, and crying.

Hermione went near him and engulfed him in a hug.

"Last Christmas?" Harry asked.

Ron looked up at him and nodded.

"You weren't with us and we almost died, faced Voldemort, blah blah while you were so what safe at the shell cottage?"

Ron stared at him for a long time before nodding.

"You think we forgive you out of pity and life went on?"

Ron gulped and nodded.

Harry sighed, "Look, Ron, How many times have you and Mione fought?"

He didn't answer.

"About 200, I guess," Hermione provided.

Ron chuckled sadly.

"And me and you?" Harry asked, "Twice or Thrice I guess. But you are my best friend, Ron, you really think I will let go of you so easily??"

"But Dumbledore knew I would leave, that's why he gave me the Deluminator," Ron said sadly.

"Dumbledore knew that one of us would surely leave, either me, you, or Harry," Hermione said.

"He gave you the deluminator because he knew, whoever leaves, it will be you who will find the other. He trusted that you would come back if you left and if someone else did, you will use it to find the others." Harry said, "We love you, Ron! I am incomplete without you, now don't tell Gin that, but I can't live without a friend like you. The idea that you even though I pitied you, is absolute rubbish!"

Ron smiled at him.

"And you are my partner in every sense," Hermione said.

Ron beckoned Harry to come closer and engulfed both him and Hermione in a hug. "I love you two so much!"

"Good," Harry muttered, "Now don't forget that again,"

"I won't."

--------

Sorry for the late chapter dears.

My schedule was so busy and I am working on a very looong oneshot that can be broken down and be created in a new story.

Actually, tell me what I should do.

Sorry for the short chapter too...

This would be the first chapter where hinny isn't centralized.

Anyways, Happy Back To Hogwarts Day.
