As the couple rose from the couch, they were startled by the sight of Taehyung's mother, her face contorted with anger and confusion. Taehyung tried to intervene, attempting to calm her down before things escalated further.

"Mom, please, calm down," Taehyung implored, his voice tinged with concern. "What's going on? What's wrong?"

But his mother's rage seemed to only intensify as her eyes landed on Y/n. With a gasp of horror, she reached out and pulled Taehyung away from her, as if trying to shield him from Y/n's presence.

"What is she?" his mother demanded, her voice trembling with a mixture of fear and disgust. "What kind of creature is she, Taehyung?"

Y/n flinched at the harshness of her words, feeling a surge of hurt and indignation rise within her. She instinctively shifted back into her human form, seeking refuge behind Taehyung as his mother's accusations flew.

"She's my wife, Mom. She's our y/n," Taehyung declared, his voice ringing with defiance. "And I know everything about her. I've known since the day one, please mom calm down."

His mother recoiled at his words, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief. "You knew?" she whispered, her voice barely audible above the tumult of emotions swirling around them. "How could you not tell us taehyung?"

Taehyung's jaw clenched with determination as he stepped forward, refusing to be cowed by his mother's reaction. "Because I love her, and she's still the y/n," he stated firmly, his gaze unwavering. "And nothing will ever change that."

His mother's expression softened slightly at his declaration, her anger momentarily giving way to a flicker of understanding. But before she could respond, Taehyung continued, his voice rising with conviction.

"I won't stand by and let anyone insult her," he declared, his tone tinged with a hint of desperation. "Not even you, Mom."

Tears streamed down his mother's cheeks as she pulled Taehyung away from Y/n, her voice trembling with emotion.

"Taehyung, you can't be with her," she pleaded, her words choked with sorrow. "She's not normal. She's not like us."

Taehyung's heart ached at the sight of his mother's distress, but his determination remained unwavering. He gently but firmly extricated himself from her grasp and stepped back towards Y/n, refusing to abandon her.

"Mom, I understand your concerns, but I love her," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "She's the woman I want to spend my life with, no matter what."

His mother's gaze wavered, torn between her love for her son and her fear of the unknown. But Taehyung's words resonated with a sincerity that she couldn't ignore.

"She's my wife, Mom," Taehyung continued, his voice soft but resolute. "And I won't leave her side."

With a heavy heart, his mother nodded, her tears still flowing freely. "I just want what's best for you, Taehyung," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Taehyung reached out and gently took his mother's hand, offering her a reassuring smile. "I know, Mom," he said tenderly. "And I believe that Y/n is the best thing that's ever happened to me."

Tears continued to flow down his mother's cheeks as she struggled to articulate her fears.

"This... this relationship is not okay, Taehyung," she sobbed, her voice quivering with emotion. "She isn't human, and I'm starting to understand all those attacks that have happened to you both ever since you got married. You need to stay away from her."
