Y/n's pov

"I-uh...sorry," I stammered, feeling flustered by our sudden closeness. Hanni blinked a few times before averting her gaze, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. As she glanced at the pile of dishes in the sink, I noticed the concern in her expression, so I quickly tried to reassure her.

"Don't worry about it, go have some rest—" I began, but she interjected before I could finish. "I will help you."

I hesitated for a moment, my internal voice urging me to decline, but instead, I relented. "Okay, thank you," I acquiesced, grateful for her assistance. She stood beside me and slipped on a pair of gloves. "You wash them, I'll rinse them," she instructed, and I nodded in agreement.

As we worked together, a comfortable silence settled between us, broken only by the sound of running water and clinking dishes. However, Hanni unexpectedly shattered the tranquility with a question.

"Don't you remember me?" she asked, causing me to glance at her. Due to our height difference, I found myself looking down at her. "Honestly, no," I admitted, offering her an apologetic smile.

She sighed, her tone tinged with disappointment. "We met at the convenience store last last day—"

"Oh—wait!" I interrupted, suddenly realizing where I'd seen her before. Excitedly, I used my hands to cover half of her face, leaving only her eyes visible. Recognition dawned on me, and I exclaimed, "Mint girl!"

Hanni glanced at me, stifling a laugh, which in turn made me giggle. "You just said mint is not tasty," she reminded me, continuing to rinse the dishes.

"Are you angry about that?" I inquired, but she didn't respond. Once we finished washing the dishes, I removed my apron and gloves. Hanni looked at me.

"I am not angry, I'm just upset you didn't recognize–nevermind" she cutted herself leaving me perplexed with her words and before she walked away, she grabbed my shirt that shook me to my core, I wasn't able to move and instead watch her use my shirt to dry her hands.

With a mischievous smile, she declared, "Revenge."

I couldn't help but giggle as I watched Hanni's tiny steps, so I decided to play along and followed her, causing her to sprint away, thinking I was chasing her. Her giggles echoed through the room, and I couldn't help but smile at her infectious laughter, which left the other members confused. I spotted Hanni trying to hide between Minji and Danielle, but I couldn't resist teasing her, so I laughed and took a seat beside Hyein.

"What's going on with you, Hanni unnie?" Hyein asked, curiosity evident in her voice. Before Hanni could reply, Haerin chimed in with her characteristic bluntness, "Forgot to take her meds."

"Hey!" Hanni protested, but her indignant tone only fueled more laughter from the group. She shot me a small smile, which didn't go unnoticed by the others. "Whoa, did you and Y/n finally make up?" Minji teased, raising an eyebrow at Hanni.

Hanni simply shrugged, her expression giving nothing away, but her subtle smile spoke volumes. We all settled in to watch their performance on Music Bank, enjoying the music and each other's company.

"Woah, talking about live vocals!" I exclaimed as we watched their performance, earning smiles from the girls.

"Haerin-ah! You're smiling here," Danielle teased the youngest member.

"I smile when I'm happy," Haerin retorted with a deadpan expression, causing Danielle to pout and the others to burst into laughter.

As we continued watching their performance, I couldn't help but admire their talents and visuals. They truly were a talented group.

"Y/n-ah, be honest, who is the prettiest?" Minji suddenly asked, catching everyone's attention. I glanced at each of them before smiling and replying, "All of you are so pretty, I can't choose just one."

The girls exchanged amused glances, and I could see them teasing each other about my diplomatic response. It was a lighthearted moment that added to the camaraderie of the group.
