Y/n's eyes widened as she watched Haerin throw a pillow at her, but she managed to close the door just in time to avoid being hit.

"Sorry, Haerin-ah!" Y/n called out from outside. She stood there for a few moments, waiting. Suddenly, the door swung open again, catching Y/n off guard, and she tumbled to the floor. This time, Haerin was clothed, though her hair was still wet.

Y/n looked up, feeling nervous about Haerin's reaction. "H-Haerin-ah, sorry. I should have waited for you to respond first."

"I-it's fine. You didn't see anything anyway," Haerin replied shyly, extending her hand to help Y/n up. Y/n felt guilty knowing she had actually checked Haerin out, her blush deepening as she remembered Haerin's exposed collarbone and chest, as well as her legs peeking out from the short towel.

Accepting Haerin's hand, Y/n stood up, now facing her but slightly looking down due to Haerin's shorter stature.

"We should probably go now. Breakfast is ready," Y/n said, breaking the silence between them. Haerin glanced sideways, causing Y/n to feel perplexed.

"You go first. I have to dry my hair," Haerin replied slowly, looking up at Y/n.

"Can I help you dry your hair?" Y/n blurted out without thinking, mentally facepalming at her own awkwardness.

What am I even doing!? Y/n thought

"S-sure," Haerin agreed, nodding with a slight smile creeping onto her face.

With Haerin seated, Y/n positioned herself behind her, looking at their reflection in the mirror as she plugged in the hair dryer. Gently, Y/n began to dry Haerin's hair, making sure to hold it in place so it wouldn't get in her face.

"Y/n?" Haerin spoke up, and Y/n hummed in response, continuing to blow dry Haerin's hair while keeping her gaze on their reflection.

"Yes, boss?" Y/n replied playfully, earning a giggle from Haerin. Y/n couldn't help but smile at the sound.

"Do you have siblings?" Haerin asked, her curiosity evident in her tone.

"Yeah, I have an older sister. She's actually a fan," Y/n answered, noticing Haerin's 'oh' expression and nodding in acknowledgment.

"How about you?" Y/n inquired, shifting her position slightly to dry Haerin's bangs, inadvertently blocking the mirror and causing Haerin's attention to focus on her instead. They stood so close now.

"I have a younger sister," Haerin replied, her gaze fixed on Y/n's eyes while Y/n concentrated on her hair.

"Well, she must be so pretty like you!" Y/n blurted out, meeting Haerin's eyes, which caused her to look away with a hint of blush.

"T-thank you," Haerin mumbled, her shyness endearing Y/n even more, prompting her to laugh. In response, Haerin playfully slapped Y/n's arm, and they both couldn't help but laugh together.

Hyein's POV

As I was about to eat, I noticed Minji unnie giving me a look. I raised my eyebrows in response. "What?"

"Let's wait for the others! Or if you're really hungry, go and fetch Y/n and Haerin," Minji suggested. I nodded in agreement and happily made my way upstairs.

Even though I had only recently met Y/n, I already felt close to her. The way she took care of us made me admire her even more. But sometimes, I couldn't help but wish she only cared about me. I sighed, feeling a pang of longing, and slowly walked down the hallway. I was about to knock on Haerin unnie's door when I heard voices.

"I have a younger sister," Haerin unnie's voice said.

That must be Haerin unnie! I thought, smiling. But before I could turn the doorknob, I heard Y/n speak.

"Well, she must be so pretty like you!"

Y/n never complimented me like that... or at least not with that kind of energy I thought, feeling a twinge in my stomach.

As their laughter filled the air, I decided not to intervene. Instead, I went back downstairs and tried my best to smile when the others looked at me.

"Well, they said they'll be down any minute now!" I reassured them.

We waited for a few minutes, and suddenly Haerin and Y/n appeared.

"Let's eat, guys!" Hanni exclaimed, with Y/n nodding in agreement. I was taken aback when Y/n sat beside me, causing me to look at her slowly. She then giggled.

"You look like a chipmunk, Hyein-ah! So cute!" she exclaimed, pointing out the food stuff on one side of my cheek. My face heated up, and I coughed in embarrassment. I noticed how Y/n's eyes widened, and she quickly handed me a glass of water, which I gladly accepted.

Aish, this cutiepie is my weakness I thought, feeling my heart flutter at her kindness.
