"Why are you doing this?" Minji asked, opening her own tub of ice cream that Y/n had specially bought for her. Y/n, who was already digging into her ice cream, turned her head to Minji. "Doing what?"

"All of this. You brought me to a ramen place, bought me ice cream, and now we're sitting here together," Minji replied.

"Like I told you, I just want to cheer you up, Min," Y/n explained gently.

Minji sighed, feeling overwhelmed by emotions she couldn't contain any longer. As if her heart was about to burst, she set down her ice cream, causing Y/n to look at her worriedly. "You don't like it—"

"I like you, Y/n," Minji blurted out, her confession hanging in the air.

Y/n, caught off guard by Minji's confession, felt her mouth hang open in shock. She shakily set down her ice cream, feeling overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events. There was so much going on, and she didn't know what to do.

"Minji—I..." Y/n tried to speak, but her words stumbled out incoherently. Minji sighed defeatedly, her shoulders slumping.

"It's fine. I don't expect you to feel the same way, but I just needed to get it off my chest," Minji said softly.

Y/n nodded, feeling a weight settle in her chest as they both sat in silence, lost in their thoughts. After a moment, Y/n spoke up again.

"You know, I'm really scared..." Y/n admitted quietly.

"Why?" Minji asked, her voice gentle and full of concern.

"Because of betrayal. I'll only say it to you... I've had a relationship with a celebrity before, and it didn't really go well... I was so badly betrayed, Minji. And the thought of feeling that betrayal again is scary for me," Y/n confessed, opening up about her past relationship, a part of herself she rarely shared with anyone.

"Do I know her?" Minji asked, her eyes widening in surprise at Y/n's revelation. Y/n simply nodded, and Minji couldn't help but gasp in response, realizing the depth of Y/n's vulnerability in sharing such a personal experience.

Y/n glanced at Minji, her heart heavy with the weight of her confession. She had never expected to reveal this part of her past to anyone, let alone Minji. But there was something about Minji's presence that made her feel safe, like she could trust her with her deepest fears and insecurities.

"It's... complicated," Y/n replied, her voice tinged with sadness. "It's someone you know, but I'd rather not say her name."

Minji nodded understandingly, respecting Y/n's wishes for privacy. She reached out and gently squeezed Y/n's hand in a gesture of comfort and support.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that, Y/n," Minji said softly. "But I want you to know that I'll never betray your trust. I care about you too much to ever hurt you."

Y/n felt a rush of warmth flood her chest at Minji's words. She looked into Minji's eyes, seeing nothing but sincerity and compassion reflected back at her.

"Thank you, Minji," Y/n whispered, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over her.

As they strolled through the park, the sun began its descent, casting a warm glow over the surroundings. Y/n and Minji enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, soaking in the tranquility of the moment. After some time, they decided to head home, feeling refreshed from their time outdoors.

Upon arriving home, Y/n and Minji entered the house, greeted by the comforting familiarity of their surroundings. It was already late in the evening, and Y/n imagined that the other girls were probably winding down for the night in their rooms.

As they climbed the stairs, Minji hesitated before her door, turning to Y/n with a grateful expression. She gently took Y/n's wrist, her voice soft and sincere. "Y-Y/n, I just want to say thank you for today. I had a really good time... and I promise what you told me will stay between us."

Y/n smiled warmly, touched by Minji's sincerity. Before she could respond, however, Minji leaned in and pressed a fleeting kiss to her lips, catching Y/n completely off guard.

"Sorry, I couldn't help it," Minji apologized, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"I-it's fine," Y/n stammered, her heart racing at the unexpected gesture. "You should go and take a rest now, Min."

Minji nodded, a small smile gracing her lips, before disappearing into her room. Left alone in the hallway, Y/n couldn't shake the flurry of emotions swirling inside her. This was definitely turning into a chaotic situation, and Y/n couldn't help but wonder what would come next.
