Minji raised her eyebrows. They were now sitting in a ramen store, and she looked at the girl in front of her who was smiling widely, like a kid who just won a bear in a claw machine. Y/n was smart enough to find a ramen store that wasn't too crowded and had private rooms for customers.

"Surprise!" Y/n exclaimed. This time, Minji couldn't help but smile at how energetic Y/n was. She had thought Y/n didn't care about her, but this gesture made her feel less alone.

"Why did you bring me here?" Minji asked.

"Because you looked down, Min. I wanted to cheer you up!" Minji blushed slightly at the sudden nickname. She cleared her throat and looked at Y/n. Silence engulfed both of them until there was a buzz. Y/n stood up immediately, catching Minji off guard. She reached out and held Y/n's wrist.

"What is it?" Y/n asked, looking down at Minji.

"Where are you going?" Minji asked, still seated while Y/n attempted to open the door. But Minji's grip on Y/n's wrist stopped her from leaving. As Minji looked at Y/n, she couldn't help but adore the girl. She looked like a cute puppy scared to be left alone.

"I'm just going to get our order. Wait for me, okay?" Y/n said. With that, Minji nodded and finally let go of Y/n's wrist. With one last smile, Y/n went outside and slowly closed the door.

Minji turned her head hastily and placed her hand on her chest. "Why does she smile like that?"

"That smile should be illegal!" Minji said to herself, scratching her head and feeling a bit panicked.

"Aish, she's so annoying, keeps making my heart freak out," Minji muttered, lightly tapping her cheeks.

Then Y/n's smile flashed in her mind once again, and Minji realized she was already smiling herself. "Yah! Snap out of it–"

"Minji?" Minji turned her head to see Y/n standing with a tray in her hand. Y/n placed the tray on the table and looked at Minji worriedly. "Are you talking to yourself?"

Minji's eyes widened. "Me? N-no, pft, I was on a call, yeah, c-call," she stammered.

Y/n giggled, finding it cute the way Minji stuttered. But this was just the beginning of her plan. Y/n carefully removed the food from the tray, making sure to place Minji's utensils near her. She put everything for Minji first before her own.

This little gesture made Minji's heart do a backflip. How could she not like the girl in front of her?

What!? No! I don't like her, why would I think that? Minji thought.

"Minji, it's fine, let's eat now," Y/n said, smiling at the zoning out girl. Minji nodded her head, and finally, they started eating in silence, but now it was much more comfortable.

Finally, they were in the car. Y/n thought it would be best to bring Minji to a park near their home. Luckily, there was one nearby, and it seemed like fate was on Y/n's side because when Y/n stopped at the park, there was no one else around.

Nearby stood a convenience store, and Y/n couldn't help but remember her interaction with Hanni.

"Minji, stay here. I'll just buy something at the convenience store," Y/n said. With a nod from Minji, Y/n got out of the car and ran to the convenience store. Minji watched Y/n, who was smiling like a fool. She decided to distract herself by scrolling on her phone.

After some time, a knock from outside caught her attention. It was Y/n, holding two mini tubs of ice cream with a wooden spoon on top of each. Minji lowered the window. "What is it?"

"Let's go, Min. Hop outside," Y/n said. Confused, Minji decided to just follow Y/n. They walked a little and finally found a bench. Y/n ran towards the bench and immediately started cleaning it using her pants. She sat down and moved around like a worm, causing Minji to laugh.

"What are you doing?" Minji asked, standing in front of Y/n.

"Cleaning the seat for us!"

With that Minji sat beside Y/n.
