"B-but I don't know how to swim!" I protested, earning a stern look from Hanni. "We don't have to go far, though!"

"Fine," I said, feeling defeated already. As Hanni packed her duffle bag, I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about the beach trip. But hey, it's probably not that bad, right? I mean, it's not like I can't swim and absolutely hate the ocean. Yeah, it'll be fine... maybe.

"What are you gonna wear?" she asked, closing her bag. I shrugged, "Just regular swim stuff."

In my book, "regular swim stuff" meant a long-sleeve rash guard and comfy shorts. "How about you?"

She smirked mischievously, "It's a surprise."

I chuckled as I watched Hanni struggle to lift her duffle bag from the bed, her small figure making it look like quite the feat. With my own bag slung over my shoulder, I approached her and reached out to take her bag.

"I'll hold it for you," I offered.

Hanni hesitated for a moment before relenting, "No, it's okay, I can d–ah!" Her words were cut off by a squeal as she stumbled, but I quickly caught her by the back of her shirt, preventing a fall.

"S-sorry! But at least you didn't fall," I said, trying to suppress a grin.

She slapped my arm lightly, "You could've grabbed my waist."

"Oh, right. Well, now let me hold your bag for you," I replied, extending my hand.

Hanni pouted but reluctantly handed over her duffle bag. As I took it, I was surprised by its weight.

"Whoa! Did you put a body in here?" I joked, widening my eyes in mock horror.

"Shut up," Hanni retorted, crossing her arms with a playful glare.

We both chuckled as we made our way out of her room and downstairs, greeted by the sight of the other members gathered in the living room, chatting and laughing. They spotted us and quickly stood up.

"Hanni unnie, don't hide Y/n," Haerin teased, raising an eyebrow.

Hanni laughed. "Don't worry, I won't do that."

"Hanni, I know how your brain works... so you better not think about funny business!" Minji playfully scolded, giving Hanni a light smack on the head.

Hanni grinned mischievously. "Can't promise if there's a hottie here," she teased, nudging my shoulder.

"Y/n, smack Hanni Unnie if she's not behaving," Hyein chimed in, bumping my shoulders and pouting.

I giggled and nodded. "Will do."

"Y/n, take some pictures!" Danielle exclaimed, sitting on the sofa and waving her hands excitedly.

"I'll try," I replied with a smile.

"Okay, okay, that's enough. We need to go now, Y/n," Hanni said, gently pulling Hyein away from me, eliciting a groan from the younger member.

We said our goodbyes and made our way to the car. Since the bags weren't too big, I decided to put them on the back seat. Hanni settled into the passenger seat, and I joined her in the driver's seat. After ensuring our seatbelts were fastened, we drove off.

"Y/n, are you excited?" Hanni asked, wiggling in her seat with anticipation. I hummed in agreement, giving her a smile. "I promise it will be memorable."

Her words sounded genuine, but there was a hint of something else in her tone that caught my attention. Shrugging it off, I replied, "I know you will."

The drive was surprisingly relaxing. Hanni kept the atmosphere light by sharing random stories whenever something caught her eye outside the car. I couldn't help but laugh at her witty humor and infectious energy.
