Chapter Thirty Two

Y/n widened her eyes and quickly pulled away, her hand instinctively covering her lips as she looked at Hyein in shock. She leaned back, but Hyein didn't let her, instead leaning in closer and closer, causing Y/n to bump her head on the vehicle's window. Their lips were now just an inch apart.

"H-hyein.."

"Shh, the game is still on, Y/n," Hyein whispered, her breath hitting Y/n's lips. Ignoring Y/n's protests, Hyein leaned in and captured Y/n's lips again. But for some reason, Y/n couldn't think straight, her mind clouded by the mix of emotions and the alcohol coursing through her veins.

Y/n, unable to control her actions, pulled Hyein closer by the waist, causing Hyein to smile. She slightly opened her mouth, and Y/n slipped her tongue inside, turning the soft kiss into a sloppy one. The sound of their kiss didn't go unnoticed by the other members.

Hanni heard the sloppy sounds and hastily turned around, her eyes widening in shock as she violently tapped Minji. "What?"

"Y/n and Hyein!" Hanni exclaimed, making the other members turn their heads, including Danielle and Haerin. They all had their eyes widened in disbelief.

Minji quickly acted, removing her seatbelt and kneeling on her seat to reach out for Hyein and Y/n. "Yah! You guys are drunk, stop it!"

But it seemed like the two were lost in the moment. Hanni decided to take action too, removing her seatbelt and getting out of her seat to pull the two apart.

"We lost.." Y/n muttered with a pout, causing the others to look on in confusion.

The members glared at both Y/n and Hyein, unable to hide their envy, but they knew it was wrong to feel that way, especially since Y/n was clearly drunk.

"Hyein-ah! What do you think you're doing with our manager?!" Danielle exclaimed, her tone laced with disapproval. Hyein simply shrugged her shoulders. "It's just a kiss.."

"Hyein, you don't understand. You're an idol and Y/n is our manager–" Hanni began, but Hyein interrupted her.

"Unnie? Do you hear yourself right now?" Hyein cut Hanni off, her tone firm.

"W-what are you talking about?" Hanni stuttered, confusion evident on her face. The other girls looked at her, equally puzzled.

Before Hyein could respond, Hwajoo stopped the van as they finally arrived at their destination. He opened the door for them, and they bid farewell to him, the tension between the girls palpably awkward.

They made their way inside the house, with Y/n trailing behind, swaying a little. Danielle kindly helped her settle on the couch, and the rest of the girls gathered around.

"Yah, Hyein-ah! You can't do that to our manager, good thing Hwajoo oppa didn't see you or else Y/n could get fired!" yelled Hanni, her voice filled with frustration as she stood facing Hyein in the living room.

"Wow, Hanni unnie, I didn't know you could be so pretentious?" Hyein shot back, her tone challenging.

"Hyein, that's not how you talk to someone older than you!" Minji scolded Hyein, her voice firm with authority. Hyein scoffed in response.

"Unnie? I am just angry that Hanni unnie is making me look like the bad person here! As if she didn't freaking make out with Y/n in the middle of the night?" Hyein's confession left the other members stunned.

"What the heck, Hanni?" Exclaimed Danielle, her voice laced with disbelief as she pushed Hanni's shoulder. Haerin quickly intervened, pulling Danielle by her side, while Minji stepped in between them to diffuse the tension.

"What's your problem, bro? Are you jealous cause Y/n doesn't give a freaking care about your feelings? You think I didn't hear you talk to her, that you like her?" Hanni fought back, trying to reach Danielle, but Minji managed to hold her back.

"You like her?" Minji questioned Danielle, her voice tinged with surprise and disapproval. Danielle, feeling guilty, couldn't find the words to respond.

Before Minji could continue, Haerin interjected, recalling a past incident. "Unnie, didn't you also kiss her?" Haerin's reminder of the night she overheard Minji and Y/n talking made the atmosphere even more tense.
