"Don't give Y/n headaches," I chuckled at Danielle's remark, watching Hyein tie her shoelaces with a mischievous glint in her eye. "Oh, I won't give her a headache, just make her fall for me," Hyein quipped, shooting me a wink.
"Hyein, love potion is not allowed!" Minji's playful warning about love potions had us all laughing. "My voice and eyes are enough, don't need potions," Hyein retorted, shrugging confidently.
"Confidence level: Lee," I teased, earning giggles from Hyein and playful glares from the others. With a spring in her step, Hyein declared, "Let's go, bae!" and looped her arm through mine.
I couldn't help but laugh as I reminded her about her forgotten bag. She dashed off to retrieve it, returning slightly out of breath. "Ready to roll, Y/n?" she said, a hint of excitement in her voice.
I opened the car door for her, helping her inside before fastening her seatbelt with a playful comment. "Gotta keep the princess safe," I teased, winking before heading to my side of the car.
It's gonna be a blast today, heading to the amusement park with Hyein. We're both buzzing with excitement.
"Y/n, no puking on the rides, okay?" Hyein quipped, playfully smacking my arm.
"Promise, no vomit rides," I chuckled, rubbing my arm where she hit me. While my other arm steers the wheel.
"Good, 'cause if you do, I'm disowning you," she joked, and we both cracked up.
"So, spill about the unnies' date," she prodded, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Loads of fun, but those ladies can be a handful," I replied, shaking my head. Remembering how I ended up kissing each of them, those tactics of them are really hard to see, I didn't even expect Haerin would do that to me, also Danielle during movie night was uh amazing.
Suddenly, Hyein's laughter took on a mischievous tone, sending shivers down my spine.
"That doesn't make me any different," she teased, her hand squeezing my arm. Her hand went up to the back of my neck caressing it, I couldn't help but shiver at her touch.
In the car, Hyein and I continued our banter, teasing each other like old pals. Our conversation took a turn as Hyein shared snippets of her journey as an idol at such a young age.
"Can you believe I was just a kid when I started this idol gig?" Hyein chuckled, shaking her head at the memories.
"It's wild, but you handled it like a pro," I remarked, impressed by her poise and talent.
"Yeah, but there were moments when I just wanted to be a regular kid, you know?" Hyein admitted, her gaze drifting out the window.
"I can only imagine," I sympathized, feeling a pang of empathy for her.
"But hey, no regrets. It's all led me here, with my favorite person," she said, flashing me a grin. I couldn't help but smile at her sincerity, but thinking about what she said, it must be hard for her that her childhood was taken away. I should do my best to make this day memorable for her, because she deserves it.
After some time we finally arrived at the amusement park. We both got out of the car, and I didn't forget to remind Hyein to wear her bucket hat, face mask is not really advisable.
"Alright, Hyein, let's get those tickets for the ultimate ride-all-you-can experience!" I exclaimed, leading the way to the ticket booth.
Hyein followed closely, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I'm so pumped for this! I'm ready to conquer every roller coaster in this place," she declared with a grin.
