How will you find out if you're going to leave them? How will you find out if you're going to leave them? How will you find out if you're going to leave them?
I shook my head, trying to clear Sajang-nim's voice from my mind. Leaning against the wall outside the meeting room where the girls were, I couldn't help but ponder over my feelings. Now that Sajang-nim was okay with the idea, what comes next? How would I even begin to figure out who I like? They're all so amazing, and the thought of dating any of them is enticing.
Minji, she's absolutely stunning and incredibly caring. Her smile could melt anyone's heart. Hanni, despite her tendency to be a bit possessive, it only adds to her charm, making her even cuter. Danielle is just so sweet and affectionate, always ready to give a hug to show her love. Then there's Haerin, bold when it comes to relationships, and though she's usually shy, she surprised me last night. And Hyein, she's truly beautiful, and her cheerful personality is infectious. I admire her creativity and the way she lights up any room.
They're all perfect in their own ways, and it's making it even harder to choose.
As the girls exited the meeting room, their expressions were somber, indicating that the outcome wasn't favorable. They confirmed what I had suspected – the collaboration would not continue. Although disappointed, I understood the decision and accepted it without protest.
On our way home, the atmosphere in the car was heavy with silence, each of us lost in our own thoughts. When we arrived and settled in the living room, I could sense the tension brewing among the members.
Taking a deep breath, I revealed that I had spoken to our boss about the situation. Immediately, the girls' eyes widened, and a wave of nervousness washed over them. They exchanged glances, clearly worried about what I was going to say next.
Sitting them down, I took a moment to gather my thoughts before addressing them. "I talked to Sajang-nim about everything," I began, watching their expressions closely for any sign of reaction.
"You're not gonna leave us, are you?" Minji's question caught me off guard, but I couldn't help but giggle at the confusion written all over their faces.
"Well, actually, that was my plan... but sajangnim..." I started explaining our conversation, watching as their eyes widened in surprise. Hanni covered her mouth, Minji looked like she was about to cry, Danielle kept slapping Hyein's arm in excitement, and Haerin's eyes sparkled with joy.
"I really love him," Hyein confessed, and we all giggled at her honesty.
"But, I don't actually know what to do next. Don't get me wrong, you are all perfect, too perfect for a potato like me," I admitted, feeling a light slap on my arm from Haerin.
"You're not a potato," she said sternly, making me apologize nervously.
"Actually, we already thought about it, Y/n," Hanni chimed in. "What do you think about dating all of us, and then later on, decide who you really like?"
"I- that is so... unexpected," I stuttered, surprised by their proposal.
"We talked about it, and we're really fine with it. We also agreed no hard feelings if you choose someone, because we know you're worried about our friendship," Danielle explained.
I nodded, completely amazed by how open-minded they were.
"Okay then," I agreed, smiling at their enthusiasm. They all smiled back and quickly jumped up, leaving me alone in the living room.
"Wow, did they just leave me?" I chuckled to myself, realizing they had forgotten about me momentarily.
Each member went back to their rooms, each with their own thoughts about how to win Y/n's heart on their date. They couldn't wait to show Y/n their individual charms.
As dinner time approached, Y/n found herself enjoying NewJeans' performances. Suddenly, she heard footsteps, and before she knew it, Haerin was jumping into her arms with excitement.
"What's up?" Y/n asked, amused by Haerin's energy. The other members joined them on the sofa, all giggling.
"So, Y/n, we've decided on the order of our dates. First, it's Minji, then me, followed by Danielle, Haerin, and finally Hyein," Hanni announced, reading from her script.
"And we've all planned what we're going to do on our dates," added Minji.
"Okay, let me just call sajang-nim and ask if—"
"No need to bother, Dani already called him. He agreed to give us an early break, but in exchange, we have to do a very good job in our next comeback," Minji explained, leaving Y/n stunned.
"Wow, you guys are really prepared for this," Y/n said, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness about the upcoming dates.
