Evan Takes Rent
When I was living with the Smiths at Chamberland I was staying in a small spare room to which I offered to pay Sherry something like $100 a month in rent. One month when Sherry was out of town and I had gotten my benefits I wanted to leave her money in her room since I owed her for the past month. I went to the ATM and got $100 out and proceeded to place the money on her nightstand in her bedroom. Literally less than a minute after me placing it there I went back to check on cat food to feed the strays and the money was gone. I don't know if there was an agreement between Sherry and Evan that he got my rent, I doubt it, but that's what happened. After he took the money he had no friends or contact with anyone so he relied on me to buy him bud so he tried giving me $40 of my money back to me to buy him bud. After that $100 I was flat broke, so I went ahead and bought for him, but skimmed some off the top. It was just frustrating that I was basically paying Jonathan to buy weed, cigarettes, and fast food for himself.
I've mentioned it before but I really do feel sorry for him in the end, that was a point in my life, to him it was and is his life.
