Chapter three

"It's brutal out here."

Having made it to the bonfire, all of them got out of Jeremiah's car and began walking toward's the rest of the people "okay, remember I am the designated driver so if you wanna leave come and find me and we'll go." Jeremiah shared "yes, yes, Jeremiah, we understand. This isn't our first bonfire." Hannah shared, as Conrad chuckled, Jeremiah sighed "right. So I'll see you guys later." he told them, veering off and going his own way and as he did, so did Steven, leaving Hannah and Conrad to themselves, where his arm was around her.

"So not only does sober Conrad think deb balls are bullshit and that debs are sheep after he not only jumped at the opportunity last year to be a girls date to one, but now pot smoking Conrad says the girl you've known your entire life is now a doll." Hannah mentioned, as Conrad huffed "no, no, I didn't..I didn't mean it like that." he told her, as the two stopped walking and he looked at her, Hannah furrowed her brows "but you said it? And in front of Belly who if you didn't notice practically ignored me the entire time we were out there, she was just to focused on Conrad and his horrible new habit he's picked up!" she voiced, gasping "she probably even blames me for it. I'm such a terrible influence on you!" she voiced.

And as she did, Conrad chuckled "stop!" he voiced "no, I'm serious! We..we should probably stop being friends! I mean she probably thinks I got into your mind and made you quit football!" Hannah voiced, chuckling along with Conrad "hey, Conrad." a familiar voice said, as the two turned their heads, seeing Nicole standing there in a red sox hat "hey, Nicole.." Conrad told her, nervously, and as he did, Hannah looked between the two and as she did, she began to figure out what was going on "oh..I..I'm gonna go get a beer." she shared, stepping around Nicole and walking down the beach toward's the huge crowd by the liquor.

"Hannah!" Conrad called after her, knowing he should've told her how he started seeing Nicole, but it never came up, seeing as there were more important things going on, like finding out his mom's cancer was back and that her entire family including her mom and his mom didn't seem to want to tell anyone, so she truly had become the only person he didn't have to pretend with, yet in the end it seemed he still was, by not telling the one girl he cared more about in the entire world that he had a girlfriend, that was his mistake.

Soon, Hannah was three beers in, as she was holding her fourth one in her hand, she noticed Jeremiah talking to two girls, she smirked, as she walked over to them, Cardi B was playing on the radio and it reminded her of cheer, and all she wanted to do was forget about it, and Conrad "Jeremiah!" she sang, as Jeremiah turned around and looked at her, his eyes going wide "Hannah." he told her, as Hannah drank more of her beer, she motioned to the cup in his hand "that better not be alcohol because like you said, your supposed to be the sober one." she told him,

As Jeremiah chuckled "your drunk." he told her "not yet!" Hannah voiced, turning away from him and downing the rest of her beer, but as she did, she furrowed her brows, seeing Belly "Belly?" she asked, as she walked over to her, Jeremiah ran after her "Belly! You came! Great, we can all hang out, you guys." He shared, as Hannah held her empty beer bottle out toward's Belly "no, no, she's..she's not supposed to be here, Jere! And what are you wearing?" she asked her "your wearing the same thing!" Belly voiced.

"And I'm old enough to meanwhile your dressed like that in front of guys half your age!" Hannah voiced "says the cheerleader! You probably have tons of guys throwing themselves at you with that uniform!" Belly voiced "Belly!" Conrad voiced "I'm about to take her home." Steven shared "thank you." Hannah told him "what?" Jeremiah asked "yeah, we're leaving. Are you kidding me?" Steven asked, grabbing Belly's hand "okay, Steven, chill out. Come on." Jeremiah told him, as Hannah chuckled "chill out? She just called me a whore!" she voiced.
