Chapter thirty three

"Stopping the open house."

Walking downstairs, Hannah only saw Taylor, Steven and Belly, as she furrowed her brows, she turned looking to the back door as she walked toward's it, heading out and down to the dock, she found the two sitting there "you know, I just feel like everyone's slipping away, and..and the house is the last thing tying us together." Jeremiah shared "we're not giving up." Conrad told him, as Hannah walked up "he's right." she told them, as Jeremiah and Conrad looked to her "I mean, my parents are already putting together to put out a giant amount of money that your aunt can't refuse so that this house can be ours. Anonymously of course cause she would never actually give it to us." Hannah shared.

"That's your plan?" Jeremiah asked her, as Hannah raised her brows "well, if I recall from Steven's instagram post from graduation, I think he's becoming an engineer major so having no AC would suck for us but be even worse aunt Julia's open house and then I just have to mess around with the book of numbers our mom's kept to help keep this place standing which should slow her down for a little while seeing as she'll have to look up all the right numbers. And then other then that, it's probably negotiating with the realtor when she arrives tomorrow but up to that point I've got nothing else." she shared.

"Then we'll figure the rest out together." Conrad shared, reaching his hand out to her, Hannah gave him it, although he pulled her toward's him and as she did, she landed between him and Jeremiah, as the three of them laughed "look, I don't know, but..I feel like us all hanging around the open house tomorrow and being pains in the asses is another thing we can add to that list." Conrad shared, as Jeremiah sniffled "oh, I'm sure aunt Julia would love that." he told them "oh totally." Hannah told him, as Conrad leaned back, pulling Hannah with him "let's fuck some shit up." he told them.

As Jeremiah chuckled, leaning back as well "let's fuck some shit up." he told them "definitely." Hannah told them, as Jeremiah leaned his head on her shoulder, Hannah leaned her's on Conrad's, Conrad then leaned his head on her's, as they all sat there looking out at the ocean.

Having sat out there for awhile, it was dark now as they came back in, heading to the living room that had the tv in it, Jeremiah jumped over the couch and put his feet on it, as Taylor and Steven came over sitting next to him, Hannah and Conrad stood in the doorway, as Hannah noticed Belly walking up to them, she turned walking off, sitting down on the open couch "can I not sit next to you?" Steven asked Taylor, as the two of them laughed "do I need to separate you two?" Jeremiah asked them "yeah, you guys are play fighting like me and Conrad." Hannah pointed out, and when she did, Taylor and Steven looked to her, realizing what that implied.

"No, we're not." Steven told her, as Taylor scoffed "yeah, we're not." she told her, crossing her arms, Jeremiah looked to Hannah "they so are." he told her, as Hannah hummed "okay, fine then he can come sit with you!" Taylor voiced "everybody knows that's the bad couch." Jeremiah shared "hey! I'm sitting here!" Hannah voiced, as Steven motioned to her "case in point." he said, as Hannah gasped, grabbing the throw pillow and throwing it at him, hitting him in the head "hey!" Steven voiced, throwing the pillow back at her, Hannah caught it.

"Steven, you're in my spot." Belly told him "well, you snooze, you lose. You can sit on the floor now." Steven told her "don't..no, just let her have it." Taylor told him "what? Are you.." Steven told her "get off the couch. Just let her have it." Taylor told him "oh, my god. Fine." Steven told her, as he got up, Belly sat down "oh my god." Taylor said "sorry, Steve o. Oh, uh, I ordered pizza." Jeremiah shared, as Steven walked over, moving his feet off the couch, just so he could sit next to Taylor "it should be like thirty minutes, but I only ordered one with pineapple, so I call dibs on two slices, all right?" Jeremiah asked.
