Chapter four

"First night and we're taken home in a cop car."

Where they walked all the way to Jeremiah's jeep, as he opened the back door "seriously, come on. Get in the car. Watch your head." he told him, as he put Conrad inside "I want Hannah.." Conrad told him "if you get in. She'll be sitting right next to you." Jeremiah told him, as Conrad huffed, moving to the middle seat, Hannah climbed in, as Jeremiah shut the door behind her.

Jeremiah then got into the drivers seat, as he looked to Belly who was standing outside of it, talking to a boy "Belly. Let's go. Get in." he told her "Cam can give me a ride home. Right, Cam?" Belly asked "yes. That's no problem." Cam shared, as Hannah laughed "yes, yes it is. We just went through why it is. Right, Jeremiah?" she asked him, as she leaned over the middle console "yeah, you are not getting in a car with a guy you just met." Jeremiah shared "I'm Cam. Cameron." Cam shared, as he stuck his hand through the window.

Jeremiah and Hannah furrowed their brows "your name is Cam Cameron?" Jeremiah asked him "that's really weird." Hannah told him, as Cameron pulled his hand back "no, it's ju..just Cam." he told them, as Conrad reached his hands out to Hannah to pull her back into the backseat "but we actually, we know each other. Seventh grade. Latin convention. So, like, we're not total strangers." Cam shared "okay. No offense, but no. Belly, get in the car." Jeremiah told her "yeah, get in the car.." Hannah voiced.

As Conrad huffed, putting his arms around her waist, he pulled her back and onto his lap, where his arms were wrapped around her waist, and her back was against his chest "Conrad, no.." Hannah told him, bringing her hands to try and pull them off of her, wanting to sit in her own seat, as she tried to climb out of his lap, Conrad only strengthened his grip "Hannah.." he told her, as Belly got in the car, Jeremiah started the car up and began to drive off, and as he did, Hannah's eyes went wide "Steven!" she voiced.

As Jeremiah quickly stopped the car "fuck!" he voiced, putting it in park, he looked to Belly "watch Hannah and Conrad. I'll be right back." he told her, getting out of the drivers seat "okay, Conrad, let go." Hannah told him, going to climb into her own seat again, Conrad took one hand off of her waist, and she thought he was letting her go, but instead he brought that hand up into her hair and began playing with it "you're hairs like a little kids the way it's always so messy." he shared, as Hannah turned to him and swatted his hand away "except I don't have those crazy curls anymore." she shared, chuckling, looking into his eyes.

Conrad looked in her's "I liked them." he told her, and when he did, the two stared into each others eyes "Hannah.." Conrad told her, knowing he had so much to say to her, where Belly was watching them from the rear view mirror, as a knock then came to the door, making the three turn their heads, only to see a cop there "have you kids been drinking." the women asked, as Hannah huffed, leaning her head down on Conrad's chest.

Where instead of Jeremiah driving them home, all of them got taken home by the police, as Conrad was sitting down on the bench inside, Hannah, Belly, Steven and Jeremiah all remained standing as they watched Laurel talk to the two officers "officers, thank you, it own't happen again, I can promise you that much." Laurel told them "tell me Mr Fisher and Mr Bass the chief wants to set up a tee time when they get back in town." the male cop shared, as Hannah rolled her eyes, knowing her dad would never be caught dead hanging out with that man ever again unless he absolutely had too and even then, it would be probably more glaring and resisting the urge to punch him then anything else.

"Absolutely. Sorry again for all the trouble." Laurel told them, as she walked to the door opening it "have a good night, officers." she told them, as the two walked out, she shut the door behind them and turned to them all, throwing her hands up "how could guys be so irresponsible?" she asked "mom, it wasn't a big deal. All right? Seriously, the cops were just looking to break up the bonfire." Steven shared, as he stepped toward's her "not a big deal?" Laurel asked "yes." Steven told her "I would say getting picked up by the cops for underage drinking is a pretty big deal, Steven." Laurel shared.
