A girl once caught a stray kite.
The wind blew heavily but her perseverance kept the kite with her,
no matter the weather and how it hurt the palm of her hands as the ropes to the kite slowly burns.
She never had a kite before,
so she was ecstatic when she caught one, one that soar up above the skies and greets the clouds.
The kite however, had many previous owners, it has been released once too many times when the weather gets tough,
so it never sits well when a new owner wouldn't let it go when the storm comes.
Both her and the kite, was new to this.
One having brought a new kind of happiness,
the other, having a person who takes care of it no matter the circumstances.
It was a catastrophic story from the get go.
She thought with much care and love, the kite would lower its decent and embrace her arms.
The kite was in a different position of wanting to soar up above the storm alone.
Then the storm brought the rain, and everything got wet and messy.
The girl's hands starts to get cold and slowly releasing the kite.
The kite started to ruin its wings and decided to come down to her.
But the storm came through and the girl let the kite go.
The kite got swirled into the air.
The girl went back to her home, saying her goodbye to a beautiful and painful experience.
By the time the kite fell down to the ground, the girl was nowhere to be found.
But the weather cleared up.
The Wind greeted the kite to soar once more,
and the girl found a different kind of joy.
Both the girl and the kite carved smiles upon their faces,
but deep down, they know, they wished, they prayed,
in the most beautiful coincidence possible,
they would rejoice together once more.
At least the kite did.
