Arianna

I stepped out of my house, security flanking me on either side as I made my way to the jet. The crisp morning air felt invigorating, and I took a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. Heading back to Kansas City was stirring up a mix of emotions—excitement to see Brittany and the kids, anxiety about potentially seeing Travis.

As we approached the jet, I saw Abel waiting by the steps. He spotted me and broke into a wide grin, striding over to give me a big hug. "Hey, Jade!"

"Abel," I smiled, hugging him back. "Good to see you."

He pulled back, still grinning. "I haven't slept. I met the love of my life last night. A supermodel."

I laughed, shaking my head. "You meet the love of your life once a week."

He shrugged, unphased. "I have a lot of love to give."

I chuckled, feeling a bit lighter. Abel always had a way of making things seem less complicated. We boarded the jet and settled into our seats. As we took off, he turned to me, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"So, have you talked to Travis?"

I sighed, shaking my head. "Not yet."

"He lives in Kansas City, right?" Abel asked, leaning back in his seat.

I nodded. "Yeah."

He leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Want to make him jealous?"

I blinked, taken aback. "What?"

"Nothing makes a guy want someone more than knowing someone else has her," Abel said with a smirk. "Trust me."

I bit my lip, considering it. The idea was tempting . "I don't know, Abel."

He shrugged again, nonchalant. "Just a thought. Sometimes guys need a little push to realize what they want."

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't help the small smile that tugged at my lips. "You're impossible, you know that?"

He grinned. "That's why you love me."

As we chatted, Abel pulled out his phone. "Smile, Jade."

I gave him a playful pose, and he snapped a picture. "Perfect," he said, tapping on his phone. "I'm posting this on my story."

I raised an eyebrow. "What are you up to?"

He gave me a mischievous grin. "I bet the guy watches my story because he'll hear you are on it."

"Abel..." I started, but he was already typing away. A moment later, my phone buzzed with a notification.

"Too late," he said, showing me the post. It was a candid shot of me, looking relaxed and happy on the jet, with the caption: "On our way to Kansas City @AriannaJade"
