Arianna

The day had finally arrived, and my parents' house was bustling with activity. The smell of roasting turkey and sweet potatoes filled the air, mingling with the sounds of laughter and chatter. It was Thanksgiving, and everyone I loved was here.

Earlier in the day, I had been anxiously waiting for Travis to arrive with his family. It had been a few days since we had seen each other, and the anticipation was making me giddy. I kept checking my phone for updates, and finally, I saw the text I had been waiting for.

Travis: We're here!

I rushed to the front door just as it opened. Travis stepped inside, carrying a suitcase, followed by Jason, Kylie, their little girls, Donna, Brittany, Patrick, and their kids. The house instantly felt even warmer with their presence.

"Hey, babe," Travis said, setting the suitcase down and pulling me into a tight hug. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," I said, my voice muffled against his chest.

Everyone exchanged hugs and greetings, and soon the house was filled with the joyful noise of family reconnecting.

In the kitchen, the women were busy with the preparations. My mom, overseeing everything with her usual calm efficiency. Brittany and Kylie were helping with the sides, while Donna kept the kids entertained with some holiday crafts at the kitchen table.

"How's everything going with your music, Ari?" my mom asked as she basted the turkey.

"It's been great, Mom," I said, smiling. "I'm working on a new album. I've got a few songs ready, and I'm really excited about them. Plus, I've been invited to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show."

"That's amazing, honey!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with pride. "We're so proud of you."

"Thanks, Mom," I said, feeling a warm glow of happiness. "I'm really excited about it."

Brittany looked up from the mashed potatoes she was whipping. "You must be so busy with all the preparations for that."

"I am, but it's a good kind of busy," I said. "And it's great to be here with all of you for Thanksgiving."

As the sun began to set, we gathered outside for dinner. The long table was beautifully set with fall decorations, and the aroma of the delicious feast made my mouth water. We all took our seats, and my dad stood up to say a few words.

"Before we dig in, let's go around the table and say what we're grateful for," he said, smiling warmly. "I'll start. I'm grateful for my family and for the love we share. Having all of you here today means the world to me."

We went around the table, each person sharing their gratitude. When it was Travis's turn, he looked at me and smiled.

"I'm grateful for Arianna," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "You've changed my life in so many wonderful ways, and I'm so thankful to have you by my side."

My heart swelled with love, and I squeezed his hand. "I'm grateful for you too, Travis," I said softly. "And for all the amazing people in my life."

Dinner was a beautiful, serene experience. We laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed the delicious food. The kids were on their best behavior, and the atmosphere was filled with warmth and love. It was a perfect Thanksgiving.

After dinner, I noticed Travis giving me a knowing look. It was our first time seeing each other in a few days since I'd been working out in LA, and we both felt the magnetic pull of our connection.

"Hey, want to take a walk?" Travis suggested casually.

"Sure," I replied, trying to keep my excitement in check.
