Arianna

I wandered through the house, looking for a pen. I had a sudden burst of inspiration and needed to jot down some lyrics before they slipped away. As I searched, I found myself in Travis's office. It was neat, organized, and distinctly his, with sports memorabilia and framed photos of his family and friends.

I opened a few drawers, sifting through papers and office supplies. Then, in the bottom drawer, I saw it: a small velvet ring box. My breath caught in my throat, and memories from that painful night came flooding back.

I picked up the ring box, my hands trembling. Slowly, I opened it, revealing the most beautiful engagement ring I had ever seen. It sparkled in the light, each facet catching my eye and reflecting the love and hope Travis must have felt when he bought it.

A tear slipped down my cheek as I stared at the ring. So much had happened since that night. I had been through a whirlwind of emotions, from heartbreak to anger to confusion. And now, knowing the truth, I felt a mix of regret and sorrow.

I looked up to see Travis standing in the doorway, his eyes fixed on the ring in my hand.

"Ari," he said softly, taking a step closer. "I didn't expect you to find that."

I swallowed hard, looking back at the ring before meeting his gaze. "I was looking for a pen. I didn't mean to..."

He shook his head, walking over and gently taking the ring box from my hand. "It's okay. I've been meaning to talk to you about this."

He placed the ring box on the desk and took my hands in his.

I took a deep breath, feeling a weight lift off my shoulders. "When I saw the ring, I realized how much we've been through and how much I love you."

His eyes softened, and he pulled me into a hug. "I love you too, Ari. More than anything."

I rested my head against his chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart. "But we need to talk about everything. The past, the future, and where we go from here."

He nodded, holding me tighter. "Whatever it takes, Ari. We'll get through this together."

After a moment, he pulled back slightly, looking into my eyes. "You know," he began, his voice a mix of seriousness and tenderness, "this isn't how I wanted to propose, but we've never been conventional."

I felt my heart skip a beat as he reached for the ring box again. "Travis..."

He got down on one knee, holding the ring up to me. "Arianna Jade, will you marry me? Will you be my wife and face all of life's challenges together? Will you let me love you and support you for the rest of our lives?"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at him, his expression filled with love and hope. "Yes," I whispered, my voice shaking. "Yes, Travis. I'll marry you."

He slipped the ring onto my finger, and we both stood up, our emotions overwhelming us. He pulled me into a passionate kiss, and I felt all the pain and confusion melt away, replaced by pure joy.

Our kiss deepened, filled with the intensity of everything we had been through. He lifted me onto the desk, his hands roaming my body as I wrapped my legs around him. The desire between us was undeniable, fueled by the raw emotions of the moment.

"Absolutely," I breathed, pulling him closer. "I need you, Travis."

With a growl of need, he claimed my lips again, his hands making quick work of my clothes. I helped him out of his shirt, marveling at the feel of his muscles under my fingers. The anticipation built as we shed the barriers between us, our bodies finally coming together.

He laid me back on the desk, his hands and mouth exploring every inch of my skin. When he finally entered me, it was slow and deliberate, both of us savoring the connection. Our rhythm built, matching the intensity of our emotions, and we moved together in perfect harmony.

The world outside faded away, leaving only the two of us in our bubble of passion and love. Every touch, every kiss, every movement spoke of the depth of our feelings for each other. It was raw, beautiful, and overwhelming.

We reached our peak together, crying out in pleasure as we clung to each other. Afterwards, he held me close, our breathing slowly returning to normal.

"I love you, Ari," he whispered, his lips brushing against my ear.

"I love you too, Travis," I replied, my heart full. "More than anything."

We slowly got dressed, smiling at each other, the happiness and love between us palpable. Travis handed me a pen with a playful grin.

"Is this what you were looking for?" he asked.

I laughed, taking the pen from him. "Yes, it was."

"Well, now you have it," he said, leaning in to kiss me softly. "And so much more."

As we walked out of the office, hand in hand, I felt a sense of completeness. We were finally moving forward, ready to build a future together.
