Abel's lips were warm and familiar, but as we pulled away, he looked into my eyes with understanding. "You still want Travis, don't you?"
I nodded, feeling a mix of guilt and clarity. "Yes."
He gave me a gentle smile. "Then go find your prince, Cinderella."
I laughed and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Abel."
With renewed determination, I made my way back to the party. I scanned the crowd, searching for Travis. I spotted him talking to some players, and to my relief, Kayla was nowhere in sight. Summoning my courage, I walked up to them, and their conversation halted as they noticed me.
"Hi," I greeted them, my eyes locked on Travis. "Can I talk to you?"
He nodded, and we made our way out to the terrace, the cool night air providing a welcome reprieve from the crowded party inside.
"I broke up with Kayla," Travis said, his voice filled with a mixture of relief and regret. "I was so excited to tell you, then I saw you kissing Abel."
I was taken aback. "You saw that?"
He nodded. "I'm not upset, I just... I'm sorry. I watched you kiss one person and couldn't handle it, but you watched me with Kayla for months. I'm so sorry for putting you through that."
"The kiss didn't mean anything," I assured him, feeling the weight of my actions.
We stood there, the tension easing as we talked. The honesty between us was refreshing, and I felt a sense of relief that we were finally addressing everything.
Brittany suddenly appeared on the terrace, interrupting our moment. "Hey, the party is ending."
I looked at Travis, our eyes meeting with unspoken understanding. "I'm going to go to Travis's," I said to Brittany, who gave me a knowing smile before heading back inside.
Travis and I left the party together, the silence between us filled with anticipation. As we arrived at his house, the familiarity of the place felt comforting. We sat on the couch, continuing our conversation.
"I know how you felt seeing me with Kayla," Travis admitted again. "When I saw the kiss, my heart stopped. I'm so sorry."
"Let's start over and forget the past 24 hours didn't happen," I suggested, hoping for a fresh start.
"We can't do that because it's part of our story," he replied, shaking his head gently. "But we can move forward from here."
I nodded, understanding his point. "You're right."
He smiled, a hint of playfulness returning. "Can you stop hanging out with pop stars like Harry Styles now?"
I laughed, the tension breaking. "Harry is just a friend. He actually helped me write a song on the album, 'Just a Little Bit of Your Heart.'"
Travis's curiosity got the better of him. "What about ASAP Rocky?"
I sighed, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Rocky and I did some things, but we never had sex. Also you had a girlfriend."
He nodded, processing this information. "I get it. I just want to be clear about everything."
I smiled softly. "I should head back to the house."
"Stay," Travis said, his voice almost pleading. "Please."
"Okay," I agreed, feeling the weight of the evening lift slightly.
"Can I borrow a t-shirt?" I asked.
"Of course," he said, leading me to his room and handing me a shirt.
I went to the bathroom to shower, washing off my makeup and the stress of the night. As I stepped out of the shower, drying my hair, I heard a knock on the door.
"Ari, is it okay if I come in?" Travis's voice called from the other side.
"Not yet," I replied quickly, but I wasn't sure he heard me because the door started to open.
Travis walked in and stopped in his tracks when he saw me standing there, naked and drying my hair. His eyes widened, and he quickly covered his eyes with his hand. "I'm... I'm sorry, I didn't hear you," he stuttered, clearly embarrassed.
I put down the blow dryer and walked over to him, my heart pounding. "You can open your eyes," I said softly.
He uncovered his eyes and looked at me, his gaze taking in every inch of my body as if he was committing it to memory. Then he stepped forward and kissed me, a kiss that left me breathless and wanting more. His hands slid around my waist, and he lifted me effortlessly, carrying me to the bed.
"You're a goddess," he murmured against my skin, his lips trailing kisses down my neck and over my collarbone.
Every touch sent shivers through me as he continued to kiss me all over, making his way down my body. His kisses grew more intense as he reached my thighs, and I felt a surge of anticipation.
Travis's fingers found their way to my core, teasing me gently at first, then with more urgency. I felt like I was on the edge, the sensation overwhelming. He watched me intently as I came, my body shuddering with pleasure.
"Bend over," he commanded softly, his voice thick with desire.
I complied, positioning myself on my hands and knees. Travis moved behind me, his hands caressing my hips as he leaned in, his breath warm against my skin. He entered me slowly, taking his time to let me adjust to his size. The sensation was intense, a mix of pleasure and emotion that made my heart race.
He moved with deliberate care, his pace slow and controlled. Every thrust sent waves of pleasure through me, building steadily until I felt like I might come apart. Travis's hands roamed my body, his touch both possessive and gentle.
"You're so beautiful," he whispered, his voice full of admiration and desire.
He reached around to caress my breasts, his fingers brushing against my sensitive nipples, sending jolts of pleasure through me. I moaned softly, pressing back against him, feeling our connection deepen with each movement.
"Let's try something different," he said, his voice husky.
He guided me onto my back and positioned himself between my legs. He entered me again, the sensation even more intense as he began to move. I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him closer, needing to feel every inch of him.
Our movements were synchronized, a dance of passion and intimacy. The intensity built with each thrust, and I felt myself nearing the edge again. Travis's eyes never left mine, the connection between us palpable and electrifying.
"I want to see you," he murmured, lifting my leg over his shoulder and changing the angle, sending waves of pleasure coursing through me. "I want to see every part of you."
I gasped at the new sensation, the pleasure overwhelming. He kissed me deeply, his lips capturing mine in a passionate embrace as he moved within me, each thrust driving us both closer to the edge.
"Travis," I moaned, feeling the climax build. "I'm so close."
"Me too," he replied, his voice strained with desire. "I want to come with you."
Our movements became more urgent, the rhythm increasing as we both chased our release. The intensity built until we were both on the edge, and with a final thrust, we came together, our bodies trembling with the force of our climax.
Afterwards, we collapsed onto the bed, tangled in each other's arms, our breathing heavy and labored. Travis kissed my forehead, a soft, tender gesture that made my heart swell.
We lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, feeling a sense of completeness. This was our beginning, a moment that would define us, and for the first time in a long time, I felt truly at peace.
