Arianna

The news of Kayla turning herself in brought an immense sense of relief. It was like waking up from a nightmare, knowing that the darkness was finally over. The whole situation had felt like something out of a horror movie, and now, with Kayla's arrest, Travis and I could start to rebuild our lives.

I still preferred the privacy of hiding from the world, enjoying the quiet moments away from the public eye. Travis was in Miami for the Dolphins game, and I decided this would be a perfect weekend to visit my parents and share our engagement news in person. I thought it would be better to tell them myself, just in case my father reacted angrily.

As I pulled up to my parents' house, I felt a mix of nerves and excitement. I had been through so much, and I was eager to share this new chapter with them. My mom opened the door, her face lighting up with a warm smile.

"Arianna!" she exclaimed, pulling me into a tight hug. "It's so good to see you!"

"It's good to see you too, Mom," I said, hugging her back.

As we stepped inside, she noticed the ring on my finger. Her eyes widened with curiosity. "What's this?" she asked, gently touching my hand.

I took a deep breath. "I need to talk to you and Dad."

We walked into my dad's office, where he was engrossed in some paperwork. He looked up, surprised to see me. "Arianna, what a nice surprise."

I covered my ring finger, trying to keep my composure. "I have something to tell you both."

My mom and dad exchanged glances, concern flickering in their eyes. "What is it, sweetheart?" my mom asked.

I took another deep breath, feeling my heart race. "I'm getting married to Travis."

My mom's face lit up with joy. "Oh, Arianna, that's wonderful news!"

My dad, however, remained stoic. He took a deep breath, his expression unreadable. "I know he was drugged, and I'm sorry that situation happened. But I still don't like him."

"Dad," I began, feeling a surge of determination. "I love him. I'm going to be his wife. Either you can support us, or you will not be at the wedding."

This was the first time I had ever really stood up to my dad. His eyes widened slightly, taken aback by my firmness. "You really think he's the one?"

"I do," I said, my voice steady. "I know it."

He stared at me for a long moment, his expression softening. "If you think so, then I approve."

Relief washed over me, and I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes. "Thank you, Dad."

My mom stepped closer, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Let me see the ring!"

I extended my hand, showing them the beautiful engagement ring Travis had given me. My mom gasped, admiring the intricate design. "It's stunning, Arianna. He did a great job."

My dad nodded in agreement, his expression softening. "It's a beautiful ring. Travis must really love you."

"He does," I said, feeling my heart swell with love. "And I love him."

After spending a heartwarming day with my parents, I felt a renewed sense of hope and excitement for the future. Their support meant everything to me, and it made me even more eager to share my news with the world. I drove back to my Malibu rental house, feeling a lightness in my heart that I hadn't felt in a long time.

As soon as I got settled, I called Travis to update him. He picked up on the second ring. "Hey, beautiful. How did it go with your parents?"

"Hey," I replied, a smile spreading across my face. "It went really well. My mom is ecstatic, and my dad... well, he surprised me. He actually gave us his blessing."

"That's amazing news," Travis said, relief evident in his voice. "I guess it's time to start telling people then."

"Yeah, I think so," I agreed. "How are you feeling about the game tomorrow?"

"I'm ready," he said confidently. "We've been practicing hard, and I'm feeling good about it."

"I'm sure you'll do great," I said, feeling a surge of pride. "I'll be watching and cheering for you."

"Thanks, babe," he said softly. "It means a lot to have your support."

We talked for a while longer, catching up on everything that had happened over the past few days. When we finally hung up, I felt genuinely happy. Things were falling into place, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held.

Feeling inspired, I headed to the small studio I had set up in the house. The words came naturally, and I began to sing:

Heaven sent you to me
I'm just hoping I don't repeat history

Boy I'm tryna meet your mama
On a Sunday
Then make a lotta love
On a Monday (Ah, ah)
Never need no (No)
No one else, babe
'Cause I'll be

Switchin' the positions for you
Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics way I'm jumping through hoops
Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn't do
That I won't do, switching for you

Perfect, perfect
You're too good to be true (You're too good to be true)
But I get tired of running
Fuck it, now I'm running with you (with you)

Said boy I'm tryna meet your mama
On a Sunday
Then make a lotta love
On a Monday (Ah, ah)
Never need no (No)
No one else babe
'Cause I'll be

Switchin' the positions for you
Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics way I'm jumping through hoops
Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn't do
That I won't do, switching for you
Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics way I'm jumping through hoops
Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn't do (nothing)
That I won't do, switching for you

This some shit that I
Usually don't do (Yeah)
But for you I kinda
Kinda want to
'Cause you're down for me
And I'm down too
(And I'm down too)
Yeah I'm down too
Switchin' the positions for you

This some shit that I (Yeah)
Usually don't do (Don't do)
But for you I kinda
Kinda want to
'Cause you're down for me
And I'm down too
('Cause you're down for me)

Switchin' the positions for you
Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics way I'm jumping through hoops (Jumping, jumping)
Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn't do
That I won't do, switching for you (Ooh whoa)
Cooking in the kitchen and I'm in the bedroom
I'm in the Olympics way I'm jumping through hoops
Know my love infinite nothing I wouldn't do (I wouldn't do)
That I won't do, switching for you

I recorded a rough version of the song, feeling a sense of accomplishment. It was a beautiful representation of our love and everything we had been through. I knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, stronger than ever.

Inspired by the creative surge, I picked up the phone and called my manager. "Hey, I have an idea," I said excitedly. "For the Super Bowl halftime show, instead of performing my biggest hits, what if I did a medley of my new album?"

There was a pause on the other end before she replied, "That's a bold move, Arianna. But I love it. It would be incredible promotion for the album and the tour."

"Exactly," I said, my enthusiasm growing. "I think it would be a great way to showcase the new music."

"Do you have a name for the album?" she asked.

I smiled, looking at the lyrics I had just written. "Yes. It's going to be called 'Positions.'"

"Perfect," she said. "I'll start making the arrangements. This is going to be amazing, Arianna."

"Thanks," I said, feeling a thrill of excitement. "Let's do this."

As I hung up the phone, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for the future. Everything was finally falling into place, and I couldn't wait to see where this journey would take us.
