I turned to see Travis beside me, his arm draped protectively over my waist. He stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he smiled at me.

"Good morning," he murmured, leaning in to kiss my forehead.

"Good morning," I replied, feeling a warmth spread through me. This felt perfect, waking up next to him in such a beautiful place.

A knock on the door interrupted our moment. "Breakfast is here," Travis said, sitting up and stretching. He got out of bed and went to open the door.

The aroma of fresh pastries, fruit, and coffee filled the room as the hotel staff set up a lavish breakfast spread on the terrace. We stepped outside, the view of the sparkling ocean and the soft sounds of the waves creating an idyllic backdrop for our meal.

"Everything looks amazing," I said, taking a seat and pouring us both some coffee.

We ate leisurely, enjoying the food and each other's company. The pastries were flaky and buttery, the fruit was fresh and sweet, and the coffee was rich and invigorating. It was the perfect start to our day.

After breakfast, Travis had a surprise for me. "I planned a hike for us today," he announced, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

"A hike?" I echoed, both intrigued and a little apprehensive. "How far are we going?"

"Not too far," he assured me. "Just a little adventure to see more of this beautiful place. We'll have a guide to show us the way."

We changed into our hiking gear, and soon we were ready to go. The guide met us at the villa, a friendly local who knew the area well. We set off, the path winding through lush greenery and rocky terrain.

The hike started off easy enough, but as we climbed higher, the trail became steeper and more challenging. The sun beat down on us, and I could feel the sweat starting to form on my skin. Despite the difficulty, the surroundings were breathtaking, with every turn revealing a new stunning view.

About halfway up, I started to feel the strain. My legs were aching, and my pace slowed considerably. Travis noticed and turned to me with a concerned look.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine," I said, trying to sound more confident than I felt. "Just a little tired."

He smiled and squatted down in front of me. "Hop on," he said. "I'll carry you the rest of the way."

"Travis, you don't have to do that," I protested, but he shook his head.

"I want to," he insisted. "Come on, climb up."

I reluctantly climbed onto his back, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. He stood up effortlessly and started walking again, his strength and determination making the climb seem easy.

"You're amazing," I whispered into his ear, feeling a surge of gratitude and affection.

"Anything for you," he replied, his voice steady and reassuring.

We reached the top of the trail, and the view was worth every step. The landscape stretched out before us, a breathtaking panorama of mountains, valleys, and the distant glimmer of the sea. We sat down on a large rock to catch our breath and take in the beauty around us.

"This is incredible," I said, leaning against Travis.

"It really is," he agreed, pulling me closer. "I'm glad we did this."

After resting for a bit, we began our descent, which was much easier than the climb. We chatted with our guide, learning more about the local culture and history, which added to the richness of the experience.

Back at the villa, we cleaned up and prepared for dinner. Travis had arranged for a traditional Greek meal to be served on the terrace. The table was set with an array of dishes: moussaka, souvlaki, tzatziki, fresh bread, olives, and feta cheese.

We dined under the stars, the soft breeze carrying the scents of the delicious food and the sound of the waves gently lapping the shore. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.

As we finished our meal, I couldn't help but reflect on how incredible the past few days had been. Travis brought out a side of me I hadn't known existed—a carefree, adventurous spirit that relished every moment of this journey.

"Today was amazing," I said, looking into his eyes.

"It was," he agreed, taking my hand. "I love seeing you so happy."

"Thank you for everything," I said, squeezing his hand.

"When we get back to reality, my fans are going to get a little crazy, especially when they see us together," I said, a hint of worry in my voice.

Travis shrugged, a playful smile on his face. "I can handle your fans. Don't worry."

He made a joke about them potentially finding his "New Heights" podcast. I looked at him, puzzled. "What's that?"

"It's a podcast I do with my brother Jason," he explained, chuckling. "We talk about football, life, and everything in between."

I realized then how much more I had to learn about him. "I feel like I should know more about you. You've become such a big part of my life, and yet, there's so much I don't know."

He reached across the table, taking my hand in his. "Ask me anything. I'm an open book."

We spent the rest of dinner talking, sharing stories, and getting to know each other on a deeper level. I learned about his childhood, his close bond with his brother, and his journey in football. It was wonderful to hear about his life, and it made me feel even closer to him.

After dinner, we made our way back inside, feeling full and content. After a quick shower to wash off the day's adventure, we climbed into bed. I nestled into Travis's arms, feeling safe and loved.

"This is perfect," I whispered, tracing patterns on his chest.

"It is," he agreed, his voice low and soothing. "Let's make the most of every moment."

We lay there, holding each other, until sleep finally took over. The connection we shared was deepening with every passing day, and I knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, we would face them together.
