I nodded. "Yeah, I know."

"Thank you." Yun ang sinabi ko bago ako pumasok.

Hinatid ako ni Lavin sa University namin dati. Hindi sana ako pupunta pero sinumpa nila ang bar exam ko!!! Hindi ko afford maghintay pa ulit ng taon para kumuha ulit! Mga lintek sila! Imbes na nagpapahinga ako eh!

Tapos sobrang gabi na magsisimula!

The gymnasium is decorated with balloons, streamers, and a large banner reading "Welcome Back, Class of PolSci Students!"

I steps into the room, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. The room is filled with my old classmates, mingling and reminiscing. I takes a deep breath and scans the crowd, recognizing familiar faces.

It's been years since they graduated without me, nakakapagtaka pa nga na kasali pa ako sa reunion nila but stepping back here brings a flood of memories. Some good, some... well, let's just see how everyone's been.

Nia is the first to notice me and rushes over, her face lighting up with joy.

"OMG! Xena! It's so good to see you!" Niyakap niya agad ako at hinalikan sa pisngi.

Tsk. Walang pinagbago.

"Nia! You look amazing!" I smiled.

We hug warmly, and I feels a bit more at ease dahil nakita ko na si Nia at may kasama na ako.

Nia always had a way of making people feel welcome. Maamo rin ang kanyang mukha kaya unang kita mo pa lang sa kanya ay masasabi mong mabait siya pero ang totoo talaga ay hindi.

Liam and Ethan join us, grinning widely.

"Hey, Xena! Long time no see!" Liam hugged me too.

"Yeah, what have you been up to?" Ganoon rin si Ethan.

"Too much to tell in one night. How about you two?" I laughed.

Paniguradong marami silang rants saakin pag kami na lang ang magkakasamang tatlo. At sigurado din akong nahirapan sila sa pag-aaral ng wala ako dahil sanay sila sa presensya at tulong ko. But I'm so proud of them to make it this far! Malapit na nilang matapos ang karera nila!

"Oh, you know, the usual. Living the dream." Liam said.

Liam and Ethan, the dynamic duo. Still inseparable, I see.

Sab, Senjo and Kim wave from across the room, beckoning me over.

"Xena, get over here! We've got so much to catch up on!" Sab kissed me on cheek. Walang pinabago, maarte pa din.

As I walks over, the spots Larry and Jeff near the refreshments table, debating something animatedly.

Larry and Jerry, always in the middle of a debate. Some things never change. Sila palagi yong laman ng whiteboard namin dahil sa mga equation.

Wynnie and Albert are nearby, laughing at something Josh said.

"Xena! Come join us!" Sigaw naman ni Wynnie. Para siyang sirena, alam mo yon, yung malakas ang boses.

I smiles and waves, making my way through the crowd. Steph and Cyril are talking with Alexa and Ace, all of them looking sophisticated and polished.

"Xena, you have to tell us everything about your travels!" Salubong saakin ni Alexa na mahilig sa kung ano anong bagay lalo na sa kpop niyang enhypen at ang coquette girl namin noon, ewan ko lang ngayon.
