YOUR POV:

"Sorry, but I'm going to the Seven Walls!" Emma apologizes to everyone.

"What?!"

"W-Wait a second..!"

"What do you mean?!"

"But Norman said he could kill off all the demons," Nat argues.

Emma nervously laughs, "well about that...I was trying to stay quiet on the matter but, I don't actually wanna kill the demons."

"What?!"

"Sure Norman is right about eradication being the only way, but it would be different if all demons were bad. But there are children and baby demons...if we take away their food, how much hate and fear will we create?" Emma replies, "if possible I don't want to kill them. I want to save everyone."

"Plus, that would include Mujika and Sonju," Ray adds.

"I decided to do this based on my own selfish desire," Emma admits. "I don't want anyone else to get involved. Norman said he isn't going to cancel his plan. A-And I don't even know if there's another path to take, but that's why Ray, Y/N and I are going to see!" Emma smiles, "I want to choose a future I won't regret."

Gillian speaks up, "but I hate demons! I get what you're saying, but...I care about everyone here way more than demons! The enemy won't show mercy on us, and I want to protect my friends! Even if they are kids and babies..."

Paula pulls Gillian into a hug.

"Emma, you were almost killed by demons recently!" Gilda protests, "you can't be serious!"

"She's just bat sh*t crazy," Ray teases.

Don laughs, "that's just who Emma is! It's fine, go ahead. We're talking about Emma, Ray and Y/N, they can handle it. Though I think the Seven Walls is risky, I can't disagree with what Emma says. Most of all, the path we desire the most is freedom, yeah? We always knew it was going to be dangerous...but not only that, Emma won't listen."

"B-But it's not like this your only option! So why take this path? I-I just don't understand!" Gilda frowns as she grabs Emma's hands, "why does it have to be you?"

Emma hugs the girl and apologizes. "This is the only choice I can choose for myself. Not just that," she pulls away, "I don't want Norman to keep having to kill himself."

"Norman..?"

"What do you mean?"

I sigh, "Norman is being Norman and trying to shoulder everything himself. Physically he's not dying—though I'm sure his health isn't great—he's killing his heart. He's acting like he's some sort of god."

Emma nods, "we may have escaped because of his efforts, but we're not truly free yet. I have to do something! I just can't stand around and watch him suffer in silence. Not only that, it's my own selfishness again."

"N/N also has some stuff she needs to settle at the Seven Walls, so we're going for a number of reasons," Ray adds.

"We'll come back before Norman orders to kill the demons," Emma announces.

"And in case we don't come back, you'll all need to pick a path for yourselves," Ray adds.

Gilda shakes her head, "you have to come back alive. Even if it's a lie, promise me—!"

"I won't lie, but I'll promise you." Emma replies to Gilda, "I'll come back safe. No matter what."

Gilda nods, "alright. Then leave everything here to us!"

We immediately began to prepare for our trip. Everyone seemed okay with our departure, everyone but Gillian.

"Y/N, you can't be serious about all of this!" Gillian argues with me.

"Gillian, you know I have to go to the Seven Walls. I need to know who I am," I say gripping my locket.

"I-I know, but are you sure you need to know?" She asks, "what if you don't like what you find out?"

I shrug, "then I'll have to deal with it."

"W-What if you die?" Gillian continues, "what if you die a horrible death while—?!"

I grab her hands, "I won't die. I'll be very careful, I promise."

Her eyes begin to water as she lets them flow a moment later. She cries as I wipe her tears with my sleeve, "you don't need to cry. I know you're worried, not only that, I know you don't like the fact we don't want to kill the demons. But I promise you," I hug her tightly, "everything will be okay."

She wraps her arms around me and tightly holds me.

We stay like that until the door opens to reveal Ray who seemed ready to go. "Sunshi—," Ray paused as he spotted Gillian in the room as well. "We're ready to leave, come on you two."

I pull away from Gillian but she keeps her hold, "don't go! Please!" She cries, "I don't want you too!"

"I'll be fine Gillian. You're one of my best friends, you can't get rid of me that quick," I tease.

She sniffles, "I love you."

I smile, "I love you too. Let's get going so you can see us off."

We walked of the hidden base and into the forest outside. Emma set down the jar of golden water and set the required flowers onto the ground beside it. She then took out her knife, telling Ray and I to do what she said. She took the knife and slit her wrist open and poured it into the water with Ray and I joining. After that, we place the flowers into the water as they bloom.

Emma smiles, "alright, we're going!"

And like that, the group that watched us vanished.

"Weird," I say as I point to where they once were. "Are we really at the Seven Walls?"

"Yep," Emma says. "I'm pretty sure at least."

The three walk of us walk over to the giant door that stood before us. Emma places a hand on the door and reads, "'once this door is open, you cannot leave. If you wish to leave, open the door from the other side. Welcome to the entrance.'"

We all looked at one another with a nod before opening the door, and what saw before us, was a familiar sight.

"H-Hey, we reached the Seven Walls right?" Ray hesitantly asks. "And we opened the door to the entrance, yeah? So then...what's supposed to be beyond the door?"

"Pitch black darkness," Emma responds.

"Then...why are we back at Grace Field?" I ask.
