YOUR POV:

Everyone left to give Ray some alone time with his mother, everyone but me. He requested that I stayed with him, probably as a shoulder to cry on.

It was clear that out of everyone, he was going to be the most affected by it. This wasn't just some death, or another death like Yuugo's. This was his own mother, his own flesh and blood.

I couldn't help but hold Ray as he cried and held onto me like a child. In this moment though, it was just like Ray was a small child again. I ran my hand through his hair before rubbing his back.

"It'll be okay Ray," I whisper. "She knew that you loved her, it's okay."

He pulls away from me and wipes his eyes and nose with his sleeve, "N/N, you're going to forget any of this happened! Y-You can't act like this is going to be okay."

I frown and kiss his forehead, "I know that I can't say much because you're right...but she wouldn't want you to mourn her death like this. She would want you to move on and look forward."

Ray sniffles and nods, "you're right." He looks back at his mother once more, "I love you. Goodbye."

He stands up and helps me up as well. We headed toward the gate and back underground where we found everyone waiting.

"You two are back!" Emma greets, "I was starting to get worried."

"Thanks for waiting up," I smile.

Emma nods, "let's get going th—."

"Emma! Wait up!" We look to see Mujika and Sonju.

Emma gasps, "Mujika!"

The two hug as Mujika pulls away with a smile, "you did it! You're all free now, congratulations!"

Emma smiles, "it was all thanks to you and Sonju."

"I'm happy for you Mujika!" Jemima exclaims.

"Nobody is hunting you or Sonju anymore!" Yvette adds.

Mujika smiles, "yes. I am very glad and thankful."

"And the promise?" Sonju asks.

"It'll be implemented tonight once we leave," Ray says.

Mujika grabs Emma's hands, "then let me see you all off! Both as your friend and as the queen!"

Thoma crosses his arms, "so where exactly do we implement this promise and go to the human world?"

Emma smiles and leads us deeper under Grace Field, until we finally arrive at a room that is almost identical to what I saw at Goldy Pond.

"What is this place?"

"I've heard of it," Norman says, "it's a passageway that the Ratri Clan uses to get from each world."

Emma smiles and pulls out the jar full of golden water and a flower, the same requirements used to get to the Seven Walls. "I'll use this water to tell him that I want to implement the wish."

"What about the reward?" Phil asks, "you have to give something in return, right?" Phil begins to worry, "y-you're coming to the human world with us...right?!"

Emma nods, "of course I am! Everyone who is here with us is going to the human world."

"But what was the reward Emma?"

Emma laughs, "there was no reward!"

"Liar!"

"You're kidding!"

"No reward?!"

"Impossible! Spill it!"

Emma puts her hands up in a surrendering motion, "honestly, there wasn't one!"

Ray hums, "that sounds too good to be true."

Norman nods, "if it's a deal where you have to sacrifice yourself, then we'll just stay here!"

"No, seriously! There wasn't anything!" Emma exclaims, "besides, you know how dangerous it is for us to stay here. I'm not sacrificing myself and neither is anyone else."

"Really?"

"Really!"

"Well that's a lie," Ray speaks up causing everyone to look at him.

"Ray?" Emma asks, "what do you mean?"

Ray looks over at me, "don't you have something to tell them?"

My eyes widen as I point to myself, "m-m-me?!"

"Yes you!" Ray exclaims, "were you just not going to tell anyone but me?"

I groan and hit Ray's arm repeatedly, "you suck! You suck! You—!"

"Y/N," Emma calls out as I pause my hitting, "what's he talking about?"

I nervously laugh, "wouldn't you know that if I go to the human world I loose my memories?"

"What?!" Everyone exclaims in unison.

"Y-Y/N..!" Emma gasps with wide eyes, "what do you mean?!"

Norman shakes his head, "we're not going to the human world then."

"No, I-I want to go!" I say, "just...hear me out." I take a deep breath and explain the situation. "I met with him and turns out my ancestors did some shady stuff, and I had to deal with the consequences. Apparently if I return to the human world, I may or may not forget everything that happened here."

Ray butts in, "but that's only a probability."

I nod, "he said I may or may not. It's not for sure going to happen. B-But in case it does—," I began to cry, "I-I love you all so much! You've all been nothing but kind to me and I couldn't ask for a better life here. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!"

Everyone rushes up to me and engulfs me in a hug. They all seemed like they didn't want to go to the human world anymore, but I assured them it was okay.

Gillian walks up to me and hugs me tightly, "if you don't remember anything, I'm going to find you and knock some sense into you!"

I laughed, "I wouldn't want anything different!"

"Alright, it's done!" Emma hollers as I feel someone grab my hand. "Let's go!"

I look beside me to see Ray holding my hand. His grip was tight but warm and comforting.

Then, it all went black.
