First off, I don't support J.K. Rowling or her harmful views. All rights (except for my OCs: Elwia, Irie, Poppy, and Min-Seo) belong to her, unfortunately.

The beginning might be a little cringe, but come on... Is it even a Draco Malfoy enemies(ish)-to-lovers slowburn if it doesn't make you cringe sometimes? 😔😛

Here are a few quick notes <3 Please read so there's no confusion!

Not canon-compliant. I follow the books and movies, but there are plenty of changes.

Main focus is Elwia's life and growth. It's a Draco fanfic, but it's more than just romance.

Fred & George are one year younger here (17, turning 18 after Christmas).

Smut scenes are only in about five or less chapters — too much ruins the vibe imo.

Enemies(ish)-to-lovers + slowburn. It's slowburn by chapter count, but not that much by timeline.

Muggle tech: vinyl players, radios, and hair straighteners at Hogwarts but no phones or TVs.

English isn't my first language, so expect some (a lot of) grammar quirks. Elwia's French, so not much UK slang in the begining either (also because I don't know it)😭

This is my first fanfiction, so the writing improves as it goes on, since I learned more about writing and grammar with every chapter that I wrote. The cringeyness also gets more tolerable after you get past Chapter 15. And yes, I used way too many semicolons at first, because I had just learnt how to use them correctly. I'm too lazy to rewrite it and I also don't want to rewrite it because that would make comments written under specific paragraphs not show up.

I'm right now working on a Marauders fic that'll be much better ;) It'll be available someday on Wattpad and AO3.
