A song for the chapter: Bitter Sweet Symphony - The Verve

"I'm sorry that I doubted you, Eden. After my inspection, I can say for sure that this locket is a Horcrux. Don't lose it." Dumbledore said as he handed the locket back to Elwia.

A sense of security and power immediately washed over Elwia once the locket touched her hands. She was about to put it around her neck but then remembered Dumbledore's advice on not doing so; thus, she placed it in her school bag.

"How are your studies going?" Dumbledore asked, motioning Elwia to sit down.

"Uh, not so well. I've fallen a bit behind." Elwia answered and rubbed her neck.

Dumbledore smiled with a knowing glimmer in his eyes and said, "I wouldn't worry about it. All of my staff are aware of your situation."

Elwia felt uncomfortable with the silence that was in the air, but she was unable to talk, not really in the mood to open up about anything to Dumbledore of all people.

"Have you told Harry?" Dumbledore tilted his head, crossing his fingers together.

"Eh, about what, sir?" Elwia frowned.

"I know you know that you and Harry are the last Horcruxes. I can see it in your eyes and mind. It is constantly troubling you, isn't it?" Dumbledore answered.

Elwia's eyes widened and her pulse fastened. "Y-yes, I know. I found out because of my powers. I trust you know that I'm a seer?" Elwia said, leaving out Mattheo's role in the story.

"Ah, yes. I am aware. So, have you told him?" Dumbledore repeated his question, his eyes slightly darkening.

"I haven't. Do you want me to?" Elwia asked.

Dumbledore was silent at first, thinking about something that wasn't for Elwia to know. She didn't even bother trying to enter his mind since she already knew it probably wouldn't work on him.

"I believe it's better that Harry doesn't know. When the time comes, he will find out for himself."

"I really don't understand what's happening right now." Poppy shook her head and sighed.

Elwia chuckled, "It's fine. You'll get the hang of it, I promise."

"How will I ever succeed in life when I can't even cast Reparo?" Poppy groaned dramatically and threw her wand on the grass.

"Poppy, trust me, your life isn't ruined because you can't cast Reparo after just learning about it." Elwia laughed and picked up Poppy's wand.

"I know. I'm being dramatic, aren't I? I just want Professor Flitwick to be proud of me for being able to cast it in our next class. I want to become a teacher here at Hogwarts someday." Poppy admitted and looked up at Elwia.

"And I will make sure you succeed. Now, with confidence, do an upside-down triangle movement with your wand as you say 'Reparo', and point your wand at that broken tree branch." Elwia advised and gave Poppy a supporting smile.

Poppy let out a breath and squinted her eyes as she raised her wand. "Reparo!" She cast in an upside-down triangle motion.

The snapped tree branch suddenly formed back into one, which caused Poppy to let out an excited shout.

"Oh my God! Yes, we did it!" Poppy giggled and ran up to hug Elwia's bigger frame.

"You did it, Pop. I knew you had it in you." Elwia smiled.

"I was just scared for a second that maybe I wasn't meant to be a witch, and after all, I was just a Muggle like my parents. Magic still amazes me sometimes; I can't believe all of this is real. When I can't cast a spell, it immediately makes me think that I've disappointed my mum since she was so proud that there was a witch in the family." Poppy explained, her voice slightly saddened when she thought about her mother.
