A song for the chapter: Nothing's New - Rio Romeo

It was safe to say that during their walk back to Hogwarts, Elwia had not heard the end of it from her two best friends. Pansy and Astoria were fully convinced that Draco was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with Elwia. Of course, the red-haired girl didn't think so herself. It was impossible.

Sure, it might've been a bit odd that he paid for the dress, but perhaps he just wanted to do an act of kindness towards her, having been somewhat harsh to her a few months ago.

"Have either of you seen Mattheo?" Elwia asked and opened the door to her dorm.

"No, I think he is still with his father." Astoria answered and laid her dress on her bed.

Elwia was really hoping that Mattheo would come back soon. She eagerly wanted to talk with him about Flora and Voldemort's horcruxes. It was clear that the war was close; they had no time to waste.

"What's the time?" Elwia sighed, not being able to find her watch anywhere.

"It's 20:09." Pansy answered.

"Okay, I'm going to Miles' dorm. I'm probably not going to stay the night though, so I'll be back." Elwia brushed her hair and then sprayed some perfume on.

"I wish it was someone else's dorm. Someone else whose name begins with the letter D." Astoria rolled her eyes humorously, hugging her stuffed animal.

"Who knows, maybe I will be getting some letter D from Miles." Elwia shrugged her shoulders and smirked devilishly.

"You're ready to shag with him?" Pansy asked with a surprised face.

"Maybe, I don't know. I don't want to rush things; I'll just see what happens." Elwia said and started changing out of her clothes into more comfortable ones.

"I'll go now, see you later." And with that, the red-haired girl left her dorm and started walking towards the boys' dormitory.

On her way to Miles' dorm, Elwia found herself deep in her thoughts. She prayed that Miles was on the same page as her, that whatever they had was only fun, and there was going to be no feelings towards each other. Miles didn't question why Elwia wanted this, since he probably thought that Elwia was suffering from commitment issues or something of that sort. But actually, the reason was completely different. Elwia didn't want Miles to be sad when she were to die in the next year or two to come. If they were going to be in an actual relationship, it would only cause Miles pain in the future.

"Elwia, come talk." A boy's voice suddenly grabbed Elwia's arm.

"Wha—Mattheo? You're back?" Elwia stared at Mattheo, startled at the sudden encounter.

"Yes, and we need to talk." Mattheo nodded, still keeping his grip on Elwia's arm and pulling her with him somewhere.

Elwia sighed and followed Mattheo to his dorm.

Mattheo opened the door and immediately closed it behind him after Elwia had walked inside. She then sat on his bed and crossed her hands.

"My father is going to kill Flora's mum as a punishment for Mr. Carrow's actions of spreading information to outsiders." Mattheo sat on his chair and rubbed his neck.

Elwia immediately stood up and started pacing around the room. "No, that's not right. Flora is an annoying piece of shit, but she doesn't deserve that." Elwia shook her head and looked up at Mattheo.

"I told my father that I sat close to the Potter girl so I could keep an eye on her, and then I heard Flora call her Eden, and that I wanted to alert him of the fact that Mr. Carrow is not trustworthy of secret information." Mattheo shrugged his shoulders. "Is a punishment not what you wanted?"
