A song for the chapter: Exit Music (For A Film) - Radiohead

Elwia, Harry, and Dumbledore apparated on top of a high rock in the middle of a raging ocean. It was raining heavily, and all three of them got drenched immediately.

In front of Elwia, there looked to be an entrance to a cave, a slash on a huge cliff. And the longer she looked at it, the more familiar it began to feel.

"Wait, no! We can't go there. That's where Salazar's locket was hidden, and in 1979 Regulus Black stole it and replaced it with an exact replica. I already have the Horcrux that was supposed to be hidden there!" Elwia shouted.

Dumbledore glanced at Elwia and then the cave. "You can't know that for sure. The information might not be reliable." And began descending down the stairs engraved on the rock.

"Please! Trust me on this, Dumbledore." Elwia begged, looking at her brother for support, who actually seemed to believe her.

"We won't know until we look." Dumbledore repeated, causing Elwia to let out a sigh of defeat. "Let's just give it a try, okay? Maybe we'll find something else as well." Harry gave Elwia a hand as they walked down the slippery stairs.

"And how do you s'pose we'll get to the cave? It's at least a hundred metres to the entrance, and the waves are dangerous." Elwia asked Dumbledore with an angry tone.

"We'll just have to swim. I brought rope that we will tie around our bodies so we won't separate." Dumbledore answered.

"Literal fucking madness." Elwia spoke to herself with a scoff as she tied the rope around her stomach.

The water was freezing cold, causing Elwia to let out a small shriek when she entered the bottomless ocean. She wasn't sure for how many minutes she swam; her whole body was on autopilot, simply waiting for the torture to end.

Then finally, they entered the cave.

"Exaresco!" Elwia pointed her wand at her clothes, evaporating the water from them, leaving them nice and dry.

"This is the place. Oh, yes. This place has known magic." Dumbledore mumbled to himself, running his hand along the wet stone walls. Suddenly, he took out a knife and sliced his palm, pressing the blood on the wall.

"Sir!" Harry called out, his face formed in a frown.

"In order to gain passage, payment must be made. A payment intended to weaken any intruder." Dumbledore explained calmly as he walked further into the cave.

"You should have let me, Sir." Harry argued, which Elwia didn't really understand. She was glad she didn't have to cut her hand open.

"No, Harry. Your blood's much more precious than mine." Dumbledore shook his head.

"Lumos maxima",

A view of an eerie lake came into view, and in the middle of it was a small island. There was something dark in the cave – something dangerous – and Elwia really just wanted to get the hell out of there.

Dumbledore stood at the edge of the rocks and raised his hand, a long metal chain appearing on his hand, and the rest of it hidden under the water. "If you would, Harry," Dumbledore said gently.

Harry started pulling the chain with all his power, a not-so-sturdy-looking boat slowly appearing in their view. There was no way it was going to hold all three of them.

"Uh, I can just stay here to keep watch. That boat doesn't look too sturdy." Elwia rubbed her neck.

Dumbledore glanced at Harry, then at the boat. "If you wish so, Eden. But do not disturb the water, and be ready at all times." He nodded and stepped on the boat.
