"STAND up, Jamira," Drake ordered me. Everyone was weeping while staring at Luna's body. Yakap-yakap pa rin siya Logan hanggang ngayon. I instantly swallowed the lump on my throat before looking away.
I stared at everyone while happy memories flashed back in my brain. Napangiti na lang ako, but I was taken aback when I realized how far we've reached and how broken we are right now.
I wish I could just turn back time. I wish I could've just keep my curiosity to myself and live with them a little longer.
Tama si Roger.
"Let's go," Drake started to grab me away from them.
I had no choice but to nod my head. Dahan-dahan kong tinalikuran ang mga kaibigan namin, and they didn't stop me.
It was my fault.
"Drake," I called him in a faint voice.
"What?"
"Help them escape. Help them leave this place," I explained to him my point. "Ako naman ang pakay niyo, 'di ba? Wala silang kinalaman sa gulong 'to. They don't even deserve this, they don't deserve to be in this place."
"I will, so shut up."
Napangiti ako naman marinig ang sagot niya. "I will trust your words, Drake."
"Walk," he commanded again.
"Jamira!"
I immediately hugged Logan tight and I swiftly changed our position.
"Thank God," I whispered to him as I smiled in relief.
"Why. .
His hands were trembling, kaya unti-unti akong nagbaba ng tingin. A tear fell off my eye, before I slowly looked back at him.
"Lo-Logan," I called him.
"It was supposed to be on Drake!" sigaw niya sa akin.
I was stabbed by Logan. . . and shot by Drake.
Noon, we were protecting each other from zombies and threats. Noon, hindi kami ganito—hindi sila ganito.
But now, the both of them reached at the point when they even tried to kill each other.
"Let's go, Drake," I told him before trying to take a step away from our friends.
I took advantage of Logan being dumbfounded about what happened. For sure he will pull another stunt again to harm Drake. Nagbaba ako ng tingin sa tyan ko and I was bleeding unstoppably.
