"Innie... you're leaving already?" Felix pouted sadly seeing his best friend peek his head from behind the curtain with his bag in hand.
Jeongin pouted back and entered into the makeshift room, putting his bag down and swatting his brother's hand away so that he could lean his head on Felix's shoulder.
Hyunjin scoffed and crossed his arms over his stomach like a toddler.
"Oh chill, Jinnie. You owe me for dropping everything to come here. I'll give him back to you in soon." Jeongin teased.
"You came here for Yeji, not me. You made that very clear." Hyunjin grumbled back under his breath.
"Becau-"
"Hey! Both of you, behave." Felix scolded, sending a threatening look at both brothers.
"Fine.." The youngest grumbled, sticking his tongue out at his brother as he snuggled closer to his best friend. "I have some things to do back home to prepare for.."
Hyunjin glared at his brother in a mixture of a threat and pleading, to which the younger just smirked.
".. an event. Don't worry about it, Lixie. We can plan something when you get back...?" He asked with a raised brow, sending the hint that he didn't know the answer.
"We head back there tomorrow. Apparently Hyunjin has a surprise for me.." Felix mused happily, giving his boyfriend a bright smile.
"Oh! What is it this time?" Jeongin asked back in a sing-song voice, directed at his brother.
Hyunjin shrugged his shoulders with a smirk. "I guess you'll have to hear it from Pixie here when we return." He teased mischievously.
Jeongin sighed and whispered a soft "I tried" into Felix's ear, which Hyunjin caught onto and gasped at the two.
"You teamed up on me?!" He gasped in offense.
The younger two broke out in mischievous laughing before launching up and running away in giggles, picking up on the threatening look that the older sent them as his hands flew to tickle them.
Jeongin was able to get away while Felix was captured and tortured with tickles for a second. He quickly surrendered, though, and melted into the hug with his heart feeling full.
"Are you ever gonna learn?" Hyunjin teased with a laugh.
"Hmmm..." Felix hummed questioningly as if he was thinking it over. "Guess that depends on how long I have." He teased back, dropping his expression in realization immediately after before clearing his throat and removing himself from the hold.
"Pix-" Hyunjin started to question.
"It's fine.. lesson learned." Felix interrupted with a sadder tone, catching Hyunjin off guard.
What the dancer didn't know, was that a memory from years ago came back in the forefront of Felix's mind, making him question the previous hypothesis that all of these surprises were leading to a proposal.
Flashback:
*following events of can we not (2 years ago)Felix fell back into his elbows which were holding his upper body up and dropped his head backwards, his chest heaving, barely having enough strength left in his after glow to reach for the tissues next to the bed and passing them to his smugly smirking boyfriend whose arms were already rebelliosly tucked behind his head.
Hyunjin sighed deeply and turned his head to look at the younger, letting his gaze trail slowly up and down as if he were checking him out.
"Did you really just check me out?" Felix smirked with a raised brow, not even bothering to look back as he felt the sharp yet soft eyes devouring him.
