In the past, living outside Erun's walls was normal. After the disaster a hundred years ago, life rebuilt itself with Erun, however the walls didn't get up until 20 years after. The early EPD stated that it was protection from any more threats that may come upon Erun, but in reality it was to keep out the people who didn't want to abide with Erun's new law. My village didn't live far from Erun's hulking walls, the black towers that blocked out the sun at dawn. We lived peacefully, we never associated ourselves with Erun, nor did we talk bad about the nation.
It is my deepest belief that the EPD sent Vulcan to destroy my home, he showed no remorse terrorizing and burning all that I held close. All with that axe, that I used the very last of my strength to haunt. However, that axe wasn't Vulcans... there was something alive in that weapon even before I was living in it. It's strange, how life works.
For the past couple of days, the members of the tea party have been living in an imaginary house outside of reality. Think of it like a different dimension that can be accessed anywhere in the world, like an invisible box that constantly follows you. Akira set it up for us, as for some reason we can't return to where we belong in Dans memory. We've all been living here for a bit, and Akira has been absent from our meetings. I walked downstairs, looking out the windows into the infinite white, before taking my place at the table. Lilly, Vito, and Danika were all already sitting down, drinking tea as always. Lilian spoke up.
"Where has Akira been? I've been missing that blue haired twink."
Danika looked over quickly, almost robotic.
"That's a slur Lilly, watch your mouth."
"Yeah, because you have a better mouth than me.
Vito clawed his hand, breathing heavy into his mask as it fogged up with his sick breath. The tubes in his back now followed a rail that goes all over the home, allowing him to move freely.
"Ladies, stop fighting. We have more pressing matters to worry about, Lilly?"
"Hm, VeeVee's right. We've been stuck here for weeks now, how are we gonna get out?"
"Nemi girl, you've been rather quiet. Is something on your mind."
For some reason, Danika has taken a heavy liking to me. She's an asshole to everyone else, but when talking to me it feels like we're friends or something. I hung my head a bit, and spoke softly.
"N-no, I'm just tired...like usual."
"Dear, have you tried sleeping earlier?"
"Yeah..."
After I was stripped of my axe and the seven sins, I have been tired all day every day. Even in this imaginary world I doze off all the time. Danika knows this, and rather than flipping me off like she does to everyone else, she is genuinely willing to help.
"I'll be fine, I-it's nothing I can't handle."
"You come to me if there's anything you need."
"O-okay."
"Danika, you seem rather nice today. Have you finally turned around?"
"Suck a dick Vito, we all know that's the only thing you're good for."
"There it is..."
Danika smiled at me, before standing up... and vanishing. Wait... she didn't go back to her room, she... where did she go?
"W-w-where did Danny go?!"
"HOLY shit, she's gone!"
"I didn't see her go upstairs, she-she disappeared!"
