Up here, I asked myself.

"Am I doing the right thing?"

In all the time I've been in this world, I've just been lied to. How many more of my friends reveal that nothing I know is true? It's a sickening feeling, floating high above the EPD central tower watching all of the airships float not too far away. The Handling department was now a blazing mess, and the ships needed to wait until they had a guaranteed return. I looked down, the one sided glass roof below me. I cracked my neck and put my goggles over my eyes.

"Let's do this."

I shot into the air stalling shortly after, I puffed out my chest, doing a backflip I launched a salvo of missiles in a swirling fashion. I put my fist forward as the whirlwind of rockets collided with the roof and cracked the strong glass. I bursted through it, landing on one knee as the glass fell around me. I slowly looked up, to find myself in a dark room. Behind me was the elevator, and in front of me was a wooden door. I, of course, opened it. I stepped into a lounge only lit by a single glass window. There was a table in front of it, with two leather chairs. Daniel sat in the one on the left, simply staring outside into a white void. I approached, my armor clanking on the ground. He didn't turn his head, but spoke to me anyway.

"You're here."

"I am."

"Why? To kill me?"

"I'm not here to fight you."

"You've made your entire goal to bring peace to Erun, you've made me your villain... your William... you're here to kill me, or to stop me."

I didn't answer.

"Why am I so evil to you? Because I punched you? Because I'm in control up here?"

"You killed innocent lives in the civil war, forced thousands underground."

"Where did you hear that?"

"Literally everyone in Middle Earth."

"But WHO told you specifically?"

"Niko... and Akira."

"And how did they turn out?"

I thought, Niko lied about who she was, I remember Vee telling me she had her history wrong. Akira though, I've been trusting him for months and months... but I feel like he's wrong.

"I made you think didn't I? I know you don't know the true history of this world, let me tell you... let me tell you the true story."

"What if you're lying?"

"Why would I allow you to go all over the EMC, let you dabble in everything from my economics department to my handling department... and then when you finally get up here just lie to you? I obviously believe in your ability, lying to you would only get me killed."

I stood still.

"Take off that ridiculous armor and sit down."

I pressed a few buttons on my wrist, my suit hissed as the clamps unbuckled and parts folded into each other, I stepped out and took off my goggles. I walked over and sat down, the red scarf Brandon gave me still around my neck.

"Tell me what you think you know about Erun."

I hesitated, but answered.

"It was Akira and Ordo Centralis who destroyed the land long ago, they rebuilt Erun on top of the old one. Fine and normal until the civil war about... 20 years ago, when Ki was murdered in her own home by... Aethernick if i remember correctly. Then there was the situation with Leo's father-"
