"No!" Mejin chuckled,
gently Hitting his shoulder.
"You shouldn't pray not to have it..."
_______________

...I'm scared...

"Why not? I don't want to be "submissive" and at the verge of death just because of some thing called heat." He spoke with a frown.

"Oh no, you won't die, trust me, you'll be just fine. It becomes pretty manageable when you get used to it."

"But you said it's worse when it's delayed, mine has been delayed for how long now... I don't know."

"Oh yeah, that's true. It would be better only of you get mated-..."

"I don't want to get mated!" Hoseok spat, cutting her off mid sentence.

Mejin studied him for a while, signing soon after. "Is it because of Yoongi you're saying this?"

Hoseok remained quiet, suddenly gaining interest in the bed cover he was sitting on. He nibbled gently on his bottom lip, picking invisible dirt from the bed cover. He gave a slow nod, taking in a heavy breath.

"I'm scared." He mumbled, his voice barely audible.

Mejin gave a warm smile, patting his back gently. "Yoongi won't do anything to you as long as you don't want it. Trust me."

"That's not it-..." he paused, letting out a soft sign. "I know Yoongi won't hurt me, I'm worried about my own self... I- I might not be able to say no if I eventually have my heat and he's there... I've been feeling a lot different recently whenever he's close by and I think he knows too-..." he let out a frustrated huff, glaring at the wall. "That's really embarrassing."

Mejin gave a little chuckle, taking both of his hands in hers. "Hoseok, there's nothing embarrassing about your feelings okay? You might not know it, but Yoongi too feels the same way-..."

"Yeah right." Hoseok rolled his eyes, cutting her off. "So you want to tell me he feels hot and all giddy whenever I'm close by?"

"Not exactly that, but yes." Mejin laughed, shaking her head. "He's mostly looking emotionless, so it's pretty hard for you to notice it cause he knows how to hide it. I'm his mother, I know everything about him."

"Oh, I keep forgetting that."

"Forgetting what? That I'm his mum?"

"Yeah," Hoseok nodded. "You look too young to be in your fifties."

Mejin let out a dramatic gasp her hands over her chest. "I'm not fifty!!"

"How old are you then? Forty nine?"

She gasped again. "I'm not even forty!! I'm thirty five!!!"

"Oh-..." Hoseok frowned, turning his full gaze towards her? "Thirty five?!... that means-..."

"Yeah, I was still a kid. I was only thirteen when I had Yoongi." Mejin's smile turned wistful, her eyes momentarily glazing over as she recalled her past. "It was tough, but I wasn't going to let an unborn child suffer for what he didn't do... and here I am now, happy that I didn't give up, happy that I was able to protect my children in the best way I could, even if that old monster had his way most of the time. I think I'm fine now, all that is in the past." She completed,  fighting off whatever tear that was threatening to fall, hiding it with a smile.

Hoseok's eyes softened, and he felt a pang of sadness for her. He could see the strength in her eyes, but also the pain she tried so hard to hide. He reached out, placing a comforting hand on her arm.

"I'm so sorry you had to go through that," he said softly, his voice filled with empathy. "You've been so strong. You're an amazing mother."

Mejin gave a small, grateful smile, but her eyes still glistened with unshed tears. "Thank you, Hoseok. It wasn't easy, but I had to do it for my children. They mean everything to me."

Hoseok nodded, understanding the weight of her words. He could feel his own worries about his situation with Yoongi starting to melt away, replaced by a deep admiration for the woman in front of him. He didn't think he would be as strong as her if he was the one in her situation. Maybe he would have been long gone from this so called world.

Now he realized how messed up this mafia world was. He knew he didn't belong here for he never wanted to be involved in it even from the start. He just happened to be unlucky to be born as a JADE.

He wondered if he was just a mere commoner, life would have been completely different for him. Maybe he would have had that soft cotton candy sunshine and rainbow life he'd always dreamt of experiencing. But unfortunately, he was stuck here, and even if yoongi did something to let him have his freedom, even if his cotton candy dream came to pass, the trauma of being brought up to serve others would still remain, imprinted in his mind that he never had a great upbringing.

Though he had become stone hearted, being able to cover up whatever trauma he'd lived with by doing the unthinkable... murdering, pretending to remain untamed, fighting back whoever his trauma setters are, and the most of all his aim to avenge the traitor he once called father, and the witch he once knew as his step mother. But he soon began to realize all that were beginning to take a toll on him now, he'd regressed without realizing it. He wasn't as strong minded as he once thought himself to be. Emotions were taking over, the sad reality of his torturous past was taking over, and the frustrating reality about all this was he knew who was the reason for his slowly weakening state, though he didn't want to admit it, but it was as clear as daylight.

Yoongi

Yoongi was slowly changing him. Yoongi was bringing out his real sides, what he was supposed to be if all this JADE and mafia mess wasn't involved. Yoongi was gradually replacing his once upon a time torn heart with a new one... Yoongi was treating him the way omega's were supposed to be treated...

Pampered.
