He felt free.

...Italy?...

"You're a fucking liar!"

"Am I? Or are you just being blind? Or in denial?" Yoongi's head corked to the side, his tone taunting.

"There's no way I'm related to that thing. Should he even be regarded as one?!"

Yoongi's jaw clenched, gaze hardening as he strided towards the alpha bounded to a chair. Yoongi stopped just short of where Jay was bound, leaning down until their faces were only inches apart. His eyes were dark, fierce, but his voice remained calm, almost chillingly so. "Believe me, Heunseok," he began slowly, each word deliberate, "whether you like it or not, you share the same blood. But that doesn't mean you get to share his fate."

Jay sneered, his shoulders tensing against the binds that dug into his skin. "You're full of shit, you know that?" He spat, his eyes flashing with defiance despite the bruises that marred his face. "What, you think you can play hero now? You think that little speech means anything?"

Yoongi smirked, and it was more unsettling than any anger or rage Jay might have expected. "I'm not here to be a hero," he replied, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I'm just here to make sure you understand one thing." He reached forward, his fingers gripping Jay's chin with enough force to make the younger alpha wince. "You hurt him. And for that, you will suffer."

Jay's lips curled into a mocking smile. "Oh, you mean your precious little omega? The one you had to drag out of the silo half-dead?" He laughed, a harsh, grating sound that echoed in the dimly lit room. "He'll never be whole again. No matter how much you try to fix him, he'll always be broken."

Yoongi's expression didn't change, but Jay saw something flicker in his eyes—something dark, dangerous. "You know," Yoongi murmured, his grip tightening just slightly, "people always make the mistake of thinking broken things are weak. But sometimes, it's the broken ones who learn how to fight the hardest." He released Jay abruptly, standing up straight as he stared down at him. "You'll see that soon enough."

The door creaked open, and Namjoon stepped inside, his gaze flicking from Yoongi to Jay with a hint of curiosity. "Is everything alright?" he asked, though his tone suggested he already knew the answer.

"Yeah," Yoongi replied, not taking his eyes off Jay. "We're done here."

Jay's eyes widened in disbelief. "You're just going to leave me like this?" He struggled against his restraints, his voice rising in pitch. "You can't just—"

"I can do whatever I want," Yoongi cut him off, turning his back. "And you're going to sit here and think about what you've done. That is, until I decide what to do with you."

Hoseok bit into his nails, gaze focused on the wide screen in front of him, confused on what to choose. He stole a side glance at the little omega beside him, who was watching him expectantly, waiting for him to say something.

"Eighteen?"

"No!" Yoonji's hands flayed in the air dramatically. "You're supposed to tell a lie, then I'll decide which one of them is correct!!" She exclaimed, clearly frustrated by the clueless omega.

"What's the point of lying then if you already know the answer? Aren't you cheating me then?!" Hoseok fleared back.

"Ah God! You're the worst with games." Yoonji signed dramatically, face palming herself.

Yoongi smiled, watching his two favorite people nag at each other from a distance. It's been a week since Hoseok returned, and things seemed to be going better since Hungjae's death. At least, there was no threats against Hoseok anymore, although some legal works still needed to be done for him to be rendered completely free, but that didn't seem to be a difficult task.

Although, Hoseok wasn't that much talkative or spoke bluntly like he used to be. He preferred being on his own most of the time and would only interact when Seokjin Jimin or yoonji were around him. His stance with Yoongi hadn't changed though, except that he'd become more clingy with him. Hell, he'd stopped sleeping in his room since they returned. He preferred being in Yoongi's room all the time, and did Yoongi love it?

Heck yeah! He'd even created some space in his closet for the omega to have his things in, which thankfully was gradually getting occupied by the omega. He already had few of his clothes in Yoongi's room, although he preferred being in the alpha's clothes, especially when they were alone.

"Yoongi?"

Yoongi felt a tug on his shoulder, turning to the source, he was met with Hoseok, staring curiously at him.

"What are you thinking about? You seem lost."

"You."

"Huh?"

"Who else will I be thinking of if it isn't you?" He gave a teasing smile, his arms snaking around the omega's waist, pulling him closer to his chest."

Hoseok blinked a few times, face redning as he thought of what to say. His hands settled on the alpha's chest in an attempt to create a decent space between their non existent proximity.

"Y- you can't do that, people are watching."

"I don't care." Yoongi leaned in, placing a light peck on his lips. Hoseok's breath caught in his throat at the sudden kiss, his heart racing as he instinctively leaned back. The warmth of Yoongi's body enveloped him, grounding him even as his mind spun with a mixture of excitement and embarrassment. The playful atmosphere shifted, leaving a tension that made the air around them feel charged.

"Yoongi, we can't just—" Hoseok started, his voice a mix of protest and longing, but Yoongi silenced him with another kiss, deeper this time, as if to convey everything that words couldn't express.

"Why not?" Yoongi murmured against his lips, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "You think I care about what anyone else thinks? This is our moment."

Hoseok's face flushed a deeper shade of red, gradually melting into the alpha's embrace, a small smile tugging at both sides of his lips.

"I see you've got no shame."

"You're right, I don't. When it comes to you." He teased, kissing his jaw.

An idea suddenly came up, and Yoongi leaned away to look at the omega. "Do you want to come with me to Italy?"

"Italy? What for?"

"A long vacation. Maybe two to three weeks. Plus we'll get to see many beautiful places. I know you always love to explore."

And who was Hoseok to say no?
